**6.** The lotus pond, filled with lotus pollen, appeared as beautiful as the earth covered with golden dust.
**10.** The water of the pond, surrounded by lotus pollen, seemed to be stagnant. Seeing this, the female Kadamba swans were confused, doubting if it was land.
**11.** The cage of bees, covered with the pollen of lotuses, appeared like a garland of golden beads worn by autumn.
**12.** Like devotees praising a generous king, the white birds, with their melodious voices, were approaching the fragrant pond.
**13.** The banks of the rivers were clean during the autumn season, appearing like beds made of white cloth for the swans.
**14.** The ponds filled with lotuses, the fields covered with blue lotuses, and the rivers with their banks adorned with swans, all captivated the hearts of lovers.
**15.** The autumn goddess, with eyes like blue lotuses and a face like a lotus, seemed to be conversing with the swans through their sweet sounds.
**16.** The fields of ripe paddy, with their drooping heads and slightly yellowed appearance, seemed like women adorned with turmeric paste, ready to welcome the autumn season, their husband.
