## Chapter Thirty-One
## The Play of the Lion
A beautiful umbrella, mocking the rays of the moon, adorned with shining golden staffs, and two charming fly whisks, resembling the foam of the Ganges, were his. He received a throne, like the peak of Mount Meru, separated from the rest, and many other jewels, the spoils of victory.
The illustrious serpent, known as Kritamala, with great reverence, presented him with ornaments, which have no equal in the land of Bharata. The king, adorned with those incomparable jewels, and seated on a throne of gems, was resplendent, like a blossoming Kalpa tree on the peak of Mount Meru.
Thus ends the thirty-first chapter of the Trishatilak Shree Mahapurana, composed by the venerable Acharya Jinaseena, which narrates the opening of the cave of Vijayardha mountain.
