Is it a divine effulgence spreading in the sky? Or is it a cluster of lightning? Or is it a flame of fire? Thus, with many imaginations, people had seen it for a moment, which was initially seen as a cluster of radiance in a general way, but later, with the manifestation of its parts, its form like that of a man was clearly revealed.
13. He was wearing a garland of Champak flowers to reveal his name, Krtimala, and he appeared like a blooming Krtimala tree.
14. Seeing that Deva suddenly in front of him, with salutations, the Lord gave him a seat as per protocol.
15. Permitted by the Lord, he sat on the seat and, seeing the extraordinary brilliance of the Lord, he was astonished for a moment.
16. Having been addressed by the Emperor Bharat, who spoke first, the Deva, with humility, began to speak as follows.
17. Where are we, the insignificant Devas, and where are you, the divine man? Still, I believe that our appropriate divinity is making us speak clearly, that is, compelling us to speak.
18. O Ayushman, we are ashamed to ask about your well-being, because the welfare of the entire world is under your control.
19. Whose skill is renowned for the welfare of the world, and who desires to conquer the entire earth, is that the skill of your right arm?
20. O Deva, you are dear to the Devas, you have conquered the entire world, therefore this divinity is worthy of you. We are only Devas in name, we are called Devas only because we were born in the Deva caste. Here, 'Devanam' and 'priya' are both separate words, or it is
21. We are Girvanas, elsewhere we are desirous of conquering, we are cold-hearted arrows. We have become hesitant in you, our pride has slipped, we are stammering.
