Thirty-first Chapter
'The rivers, like hands, spread out far and wide, carrying offerings of various jewels, as if welcoming the great king Bharat.' (113)
'Those who say that the jewels of the ocean can be measured with a ladle, do not truly praise it, for there are so many jewels that even large ships cannot measure them.' (114)

'Holding the Chakra-ratna, crossing the ocean of war, and making the enemies tremble, Bharat was shining like the sun.' (117)
'The king, blessed with Lakshmi, went to the shore of the ocean and established his army's camp at the entrance of the Sindhu river, a place that would never be disturbed, like his own heart.' (118)
'Bharat's army settled in the beautiful forest on the banks of the Sindhu river, where the trees were like arbors, due to the enjoyment of the elephants.' (119)
'Then, the Purohita, knowing all the actions to be performed at the beginning of the work, worshipped the Chakra-ratna with mantras, and then worshipped the Lord of the Dharmachakra, the Jina, according to the rituals. He then delighted the Chakravarti Bharat with pure Siddha-sesha-akshata mixed with fragrant water and many blessings.' (120-121)
