A student of Literature, Journalism and Music and possessing a good command over both Hindi and English, she has served as Assisant Sub-Editor for "karan" Hindi Daily and was a free-lancer and Music Critic for "CITY TAB" (an English Weekly). Translations of various articles (English-Hindi-Gujarati-Kannada and Vice-versa), advertisements, original inventive writings and editings are her gifted flairs. Well received Translation of Prof. Toliya's book "DAKSHINAPATH-KI-SADHANAYATRA" and Editing of "MEDITATION & JAINISM" and "JAINISM ABROAD" are the testimony of her Literary abilities.

Vardhaman Bharati, an organisation established in 1971 in Bangalore, is dedicated to Spirituality, Meditation, Music and Knowledge. It mainly aims at spreading Jainology, but generally its object is to elevate the virtues of character, good conduct and higher values in our society and to lead the people towards well-harmonized life style. They have utilized the medium of Music to achieve this end. They have sacredly recorded the tenets of Jain Religious Scriptures in Cassettes through Music and Meditation. They have made Spiritual Devotional Music humming in every home.
Kumari Vandana, Prof. Toliya's second daughter is a doctor of Naturopathy who studied at Gandhi Nature Cure College, 0.U., Hyderabad, securing top position in the University and has worked as a Doctor at the Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Bangalore. Being a very impressive orator and commentator, she has represented University teams in debating and has also lent her sweet commentaries in Vardhaman Bharati's cassettes. Her other interests include reading, writing and music.
Bhavita, Falguni and Kinnari are his other talented and industrious daughters, helping him in their own ways. Youngest Kinnari is a zealous student of Bharat Natyam, Katthak and Vocal Music and has accompanied her father twice abroad, where she performed on stage very aptly, winning the hearts of the spectators. She also enjoys singing and lecturing
Thus while this Cultural and Spiritual Missionary has tracked his path all alone, his Guiding forces and Helping Hands-visible & invisible-are many.
Pioneering initiator of this activity is Professor Pratap Toliya. After serving as Professor of Hindi Literature and Principal, Prof. Toliya has settled down in Bangalore and is carrying on this work on large scale in a well-organized manner. Great personalities like PANDIT SUKHLALJI, GANDHIJI, VINOBAJI, etc. are his guiding forces. He tried to carry eternal principles of religion unto the masses by blending them with Meditational Music, i.e. Music and Meditation. Shri Pratapbhai had been influenced by Srimad Rajchandra also. He produced and presented in beautiful discs and cassettes form Srimad Rajchandra's books like ATMASIDDHI SHASHTRA in pleasingly renderable way. Because of respect towards other Philosophies, in spite of Jain Philosophy & Religion being in centre, Prof. Toliya presented in recorded forms Geeta, Ramayana, Kathopanishada and Especially Ishopanishada. The Gramophone Disc of the latter was released by the then Prime Minister Sri Morarji Desai in 1979. Prof. Toliya conducts various Meditation Camps too.
THE ULTIMATE AIM
The acquirement of ATMAJNANA on personal individual level through AHIMSA and ANEKANTA and its enlargement unto the whole universe in the Right Way, is before the eyes of this man and his mission of Vardhaman Bharati. For this, the productions of Creative Literature and Musical Works are not the only matters of accomplishment. Vardhaman Bharati has miles and miles to go in the direction of the Universal Propagation of Jaina way of life, Meditation, Arts and Aesthetics through its long- cherished dream and ultimate aim of founding a unique International Jain University "JINABHARATI".

Prof. Toliya has also published some books. 'DAKSHINAPATH KI SADHANAYATRA' depicting the record of his first visit to SRIMAD RAJCHANDRA ASHRAM, Hampi, has been published in Hindi (*). Renowned are 'MEDITATION and JAINISM', 'ANANTKI-ANUGOONJ' (Poems), "JAB MURDE BHI JAGATE HAIN!" (Hindi play) etc. His books have even received Government Awards. 'MAHASAINIK' is his enactable stageable play. This play presents the principles of Ahimsa, Gandhiji and Srimad Rajchandraji. Award had also been given for this play at the hands of Kakasaheb Kalelkar. English version of this play is also released. In 'PARAMGURU PRAVACHANA' are presented the Glimpses of Self-Realisation of Sri. SAHAJANANDAGHANA.
