SAPTABHASHI ATMASIDDHI
Srimadji's Atmasiddhi, Rajpad, Paramguru Pad, Apoorva Avasar, Bhaktamara-Kalyan Mandir-Rishi Mandal Stotras, Mahaveer Darshan and Jain Stavanas etc., this process has further commenced with this Hindi and SIX other Indian language versions of Atmasiddhi, presented here under the title of Saptabhashi Atmasiddhi. This too is becoming possible entirely with the unseen hands and help of the Great departed Masters with no monetary or material assistance or patronage of others except a very few close associates and family members-particularly Chimanbhai Shah of late Sri Lalbhai Somchand Shah at Ahmedabad, Gurubandhu Shri Shantilal Vanmali Sheth, Wife Smt. Sumitra Toliya at Bangalore and daughter Chi. Falguni and her husband at Atlanta, USA, all of whom deserve special mention here. Anshumalin's Imprints and Ratibhai's Graphic Process Studio are to be complimented for their superb printing.
These are all real present parts and parcels of Vardhaman Bharati International Foundation dedicated to Srimad Rajchandraji's vision of United Jainism and to Jain Literature, Learning, Music and Meditation -- now going to take form of Jinabharati -- proposed Jain Vidyapeeth (*4*) after passing away of its great founder-promoter our eldest talented daughter Kum. Parul (*5*), whose noble divine soul is now inspiring several new promoters coming forward to carry on the chain and cause of this mission in U.S.A.. U.K., Germany and other foreign countries more than in India.
It is sure and certain that "YOGABALA"the Divine Supreme Powers and Grace of Param Krupalu Dev Srimad Rajchandraji and other Great Masters is going to bring great success to this long-delayed mission.
From amongst the living Seers, we have to very humbly express again our deeper-most gratitude to Deedi Vimalaji, who is one of us no doubt, for her constant assistance and guidance in editing and completion of this delayed task.
Devoted Translators like Brahmachari Sri Goverdhandasji, the ardent disciple of Poojya Prabhushri Laghuraiji.
It is very much important and necessary to clarify and project here that most of these translators' translations (except the one in Kannada) of Atmasiddhi Shastra presented here in Saptabhashi Atmasiddhi are in fine poetical verse forms, just as the original creation. Of course, there are naturally the limitations of translations. In spite of our genuine efforts, we could not find any one, though staying in Karnataka, till now who could give poetic shape to apt and meaningful Kannada prose translation devotedly done by no less a scholar of international repute than Dr. A. N. Upadhye. Nearly most of present Kannada poets and men of letters wondered whether they could do justice to the great world classic original work of Atmasiddhi Shastra while translating it into Kannada verse.
However, present worthy scholar Dr. M. A. Jayachandra has taken enormous strain to simplify, abridge and edit the prose version of late Dr. A. N. Upadhye. Our special thanks to him. We are still hopeful that a future poet of Kannada, which is having rich Jain literature since last two thousand years, will certainly produce worthy poetic translation of Atmasiddhi, Bengali poetic translation in rich and sweet language of Gurudeo Rabindranath Tagore has been ventured and especially done here by Gurubandhu and ardent devotee of Srimad Rajchandra, Shri Bhawarlal Nahata at the request of this humble Editor. Bengali, Sanskrit and Hindi verse translations are also worth-singing and rendering like the original Gujarati, all of which we ourselves have attempted and tried to compose musically. Utmost care has been taken to produce and reproduce here all the Seven Lingual versions, however, we deeply request pardon for our shortcomings.
Dear fortunate-most Readers! An humble plea unto you: You are really fortunate to come across and have this rarest of rare creation of ATMASIDDHI in your hands. Please take care of it, respect it and preserve it till the last breath of your life. You will know from these foregoing pages - in what context, in which inner-state and for whom this great work was composed primarily. Firstly, it was only for the two chosen dedicated followers of Srimad Rajchandraji like Shri Sobhagbhai and Prabhushri Laghuraiji, followed by a few others like Juthabhai, Ambalalbhai, Devkaranji
Above all, we are extremely grateful to all the great past and present Translators and Publishers of Atmasiddhi in the respective languages whose translations are adopted here. It had been a privilege of this humble Self to come in direct contact of most of them like late Dr. A. N. Upadhye, Pandit Bechardasji Doshi, Y. Y. Sri Sahajanandaghanji, Sri Bhawarlalji Nahata etc. Yes I was not fortunate to meet the Great
