(xx) hara, fem. hari: 'doer'<dhāra- kalihāri (49/13). (xxi) wanta <-vant-: punawanta- (36/3).

§ 50. The following prefixes are to be noted (omitting ts. words): (i) a-, ana-: 'not'<OIA. a-, an- (34/14, 43/21): ayāņa; aṇapawanta (39/9)= Skt. a-prāpnuvān.
(ii) anu- for anu anu-sila (sts., 41/12).

(iii) fully' OIA. - : in verb forms mostly ahoḍa (48/10); aphoḍa (34/19)= asphoṭayati; ajoḍa (44/7); acara acamati (45/17); abaha (47/13)=abadhate; ahura (45/27 ) = ahuṇḍate; akosa (49/13) = akrosati; akala (41/8); avaḍa (22/11)= apadyate.
(iv) - represents ava- in arudhi avaruddha (501), abhiḍa (36/20)=avabhiṭṭa, iḍ stutau (nidaludha jänta bhiti abhiḍa).
(v) u-, from ud: mostly in verbs: ulasa (35/1), ubija (37/30), ukila (37/13,52/12), uḍāsa (49/27) = uddāsati; ubata, ubaṭawa (48/16) udvartate, udvartapayati; ulotha (44/13)= ullunthati, upaḍa (44/1) = utputati, umisa (41/18) unmisrayati, etc., etc. usasa (33/25); unida (written off 36/9)= unnidra, also unida (35/26); ukela (49/8) utkelatiusnam karoti; ucaa = uccayate (49/25); uteja (40/10); ubisa (52/5)= udvisati.
