अपनी चतुरिन्द्रिय काय को छोड़कर अन्य योनियों में भ्रमण करने के बाद पुनः चतुरिन्द्रिय में जन्म ग्रहण करने तक का काल-अन्तर उत्कृष्ट रूप से अनन्तकाल का तथा जघन्य रूप से अन्तर्मुहूर्त काल का है। १५३॥
The maximum intervening period between once leaving the body-type (four-sensed body), (taking rebirth in other body-types and moving in cycles of rebirth as other body types)and again taking rebirth in the same body-type (four-sensed body) is infinite time and the minimum is one Antarmuhurt. (153)
एएसिं वण्णओ चेव, गन्धओ रसफासओ।
संठाणादेसओ वावि, विहाणाई सहस्ससो॥१५४॥ वर्ण, गन्ध, रस, स्पर्श और संस्थान की अपेक्षा से चतुरिन्द्रिय जीवों के हजारों प्रकार हैं॥ १५४॥
These four-sensed beings are also of thousands of kinds with regard to colour, smell, taste, touch and constitution. (154) पंचेन्द्रिय त्रसकायिक जीवों की प्ररूपणा
पंचिन्दिया उ जे जीवा, चउव्विहा ते वियाहिया।
नेरइया तिरिक्खा य, मणुया देवा य आहिया॥१५५॥ जो पंचेन्द्रिय त्रसकायिक जीव हैं, वे चार प्रकार के कहे गये हैं-(१) नैरयिक, (२) तिर्यंच, (३) मनुष्य, और (४) देव ॥ १५५॥ Five-sensed mobile beings
Five-sensed beings are of four types-(1) infernal beings (nairayik), (2) animals (tiryanch), (3) human beings (manushya), and (4) divine beings (deva). (155) नैरयिक त्रस जीव प्ररूपणा
. नेरइया सत्तविहा, पुढवीसु सत्तसू भवे।
रयणाभ-सक्कराभा, वालुयाभा य आहिया॥१५६॥ नैरयिक सात प्रकार के हैं, वे सात पृथिवियों (नरकभूमियों) में उत्पन्न होते हैं। वे सात पृथिवियाँ हैं-(१) रत्नाभा, (२) शर्कराभा, (३) बालुकाभा- ॥ १५६ ॥ Infernal mobile beings
Infernal beings are of seven types. There are seven infernal lands (prithvis or hells)(1) Ratnaabha, (2) Sharkaraabha, (3) Balukaabha, - (156)
पंकाभा धूमाभा, तमा तमतमा तहा।
___ इइ नेरइया एए, सत्तहा परिकित्तिया॥१५७॥ (४) पंकाभा, (५) धूमाभा, (६) तमा, और (७) तमस्तमा-इन सात पृथिवियों में उत्पन्न होने के कारण नैरयिक जीव सात प्रकार के कहे गये हैं॥ १५७॥
(4) Pankaabha, (5) Dhoom-abha, (6) Tama, and (7) Tamastama. As they are born in these seven hells the infernal beings are said to be of seven types. (157)
