Then that glorious one put off all his ornaments including the pair of earrings and waistband and gave them to the mahout. (20)
मणपरिणामे य कए, देवा य जहोइयं समोइण्णा।
सव्वड्ढीए सपरिसा, निक्खमणं तस्स काउं जे॥२१॥ हृदय में (दीक्षा के) परिणाम उत्पन्न होते ही उनके यथोचित अभिनिष्क्रमण के लिए देवतागण अपनी ऋद्धि और परिषद् के साथ वहाँ उपस्थित हो गये॥ २१॥
The moment the idea (of renunciation) germinated in his mind, the gods descended (according the established custom), with all their glory and retinue for formal celebration of the event of his renunciation. (21)
... देव-मणुस्सपरिवुडो, सीयारयणं तओ समारूढो।
निक्खमिय बारगाओ, रेवययंमि ट्ठिओ भगवं॥२२॥ देवताओं और मनुष्यों से परिवृत्त भगवान अरिष्टनेमि अत्यन्त श्रेष्ठ शिविका रत्न पर आरूढ़ हुए तथा द्वारिका से चलकर रैवतक गिरि (गिरनार पर्वत) पर अवस्थित हुए॥ २२ ॥
Bhagavan Arishtanemi sat in an excellent palanquin. Surrounded by gods and men he passed through the city of Dvaraka and ascended Raivatak (Giranar) hill. (22)
उज्जाणं संपत्तो, ओइण्णो उत्तिमाओ सीयाओ।
साहस्सीए परिवुडो, अह निक्खमई उ चित्तहिं॥२३॥ उद्यान में पहुँचे, शिविका से उतरे और एक हजार व्यक्तियों के साथ चित्रा नक्षत्र में भगवान ने निष्क्रमण किया॥ २३॥
He arrived in a garden, descended from his palanquin and accepted self-initiation with one thousand other persons, when the moon was in Chitra Nakshatra (Asterism). (23)
. अह से सुगन्धगन्धिए, तुरियं मउयकुंचिए।
सयमेव लुचई केसे, पंचमुट्ठीहिं समाहिओ॥२४॥ तब समाहित अरिष्टनेमि ने अपने सुगन्धित, धुंघराले और कोमल सिर के केशों का स्वयं अपने हाथ से पंचमुष्टि लोंच किया ॥ २४॥
After that, the self-initiated (Arishtanemi) performed the five-fistful plucking out of his curly, perfumed and soft hairs. (24)
वासुदेवो य णं भणइ, लुत्तकेसं जिइन्दियं ।
इच्छियमणोरहे तुरियं, पावेसु तं दमीसरा ॥२५॥ वासुदेव कृष्ण ने केशविहीन और जितेन्द्रिय भगवान अरिष्टनेमि से कहा-हे दमीश्वर! तुम अपने इच्छित मनोरथ को शीघ्र ही प्राप्त करो॥ २५॥
Then to Bhagavan Arishtanemi, the tonsured and the victor of senses, Vaasudeva (Shrikrishna) said-O lord of ascetics! May you soon attain your desired goal. (25)
