सचित्र उत्तराध्ययन सूत्र
(Ascetic Harikesh-bala-) Gentleman! I never had any feeling of aversion for you in the past, neither have I at present nor will I have in the future. It was the yakshas in my attendance who brought the youngsters to this condition on their own. (32)
अत्थं च धम्म च वियाणमाणा, तुब्भे न वि कुप्पह भूइपन्ना।
तुब्भं तु पाए सरणं उवेमो, समागया सव्वजणेण अम्हे॥३३॥ (रुद्रदेव)-धर्म और उसके अर्थ को वास्तविक रूप से जानने वाले आप भूतिप्रज्ञ हैंरक्षाप्रधान बुद्धि से युक्त हैं। आप क्रोध नहीं करते हैं। हम सब आपकी शरण ग्रहण कर रहे हैं।॥ ३३ ॥
(Rudradeva-) You, who know the true meaning of religion and its meaning, are endowed with wisdom dominant with feeling of protection of all beings (bhutiprajna). You are free of anger. We all take refuge at your feet. (33)
अच्चेमु ते महाभाग !, न ते किंचि न अच्चिमो।
भुंजाहि सालिमं कूर, नाणावंजण-संजुयं ॥ ३४॥ - हे महाभाग! हम आपकी अर्चना करते हैं। आपका ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है जो अर्चनीय न हो। अब आप दधि आदि अनेक प्रकार के व्यंजनों से युक्त शालि-चावलों से तैयार किया हुआ भोजन ग्रहण करिए॥ ३४॥ _____Revered sir! We adore you. There is nothing in you that is not adorable. Now, be kind enough to accept this food made of boiled rice of best quality, mixed with curd and seasoned with many condiments. (34)
इमं च मे अत्थि पभूयमन्नं, तं भुंजसू अम्ह अणुग्गहट्ठा।
'बाढं' ति पडिच्छइ भत्तपाणं, मासस्स उ पारणए महप्पा॥ ३५॥ इस प्रचुर अन्न को मेरे अनुग्रह हेतु आप स्वीकार करिए। पुरोहित के आग्रह को मान देकर महामुनि ने एक मास की तपस्या के पारणे के लिये आहार-पानी स्वीकार किया॥ ३५ ॥
Please favour me by accepting all this food. Respecting the request of the priest the great ascetic accepted food and water to break his month-long fast. (35)
तहियं गन्धोदय-पुप्फवासं, दिव्वा तहिं वसुहारा य वुट्ठा।
पहयाओ दुन्दुहीओ सुरेहिं, आगासे अहो दाणं च घुटुं॥ ३६॥ उसी समय वहाँ देवों ने पंच दिव्य प्रगट किये-(१-३) सुगन्धित पुष्पों, सुगन्धित जल एवं दिव्य धन की वृष्टि की, (४) देव-दुन्दुभि बजाई, और (५) अहोदानं-अहोदानं का दिव्य घोष किया ॥ ३६॥
At that time (gods celebrated the occasion with five divine presentations-) (1-3) shower of divine flowers, shower of perfumed water and shower of divine wealth, (4) sounded divine drums, and (5) divine hailing-"Great pious gift". (36)
