from first hell to Siddha Lok (the realm of liberated souls). In these questions
self (atma) means existent and non-self (anatma or the other) means nonexistent. As a thing cannot be called existent and non-existent at the same time it is called inexpressible (avaktavya).

Ratnaprabha Prithvi etc.-All the realms from first hell to Siddha Lok (the realm of liberated souls) are, in context of their own attributes like colour, atma-roop (self-morphic or existent ). In context of other attributes, or attributes of other things, they are no-atma-roop or anya (non-self-morphic non-existent); and in context of both atma-roop and no-atma-roop, being

both existent and non-existent, they are called inexpressible. From this angle there are three alternatives for all lands or realms.
२७. [ प्र. ] आया भंते ! परमाणुपोग्गले, अन्ने परमाणुपोग्गले ?
[ उ. ] एवं जहा सोहम्मे तहा परमाणुपोग्गले वि भाणियव्वे ।
२७. [प्र.] भगवन् ! परमाणु- पुद् गल आत्मरूप (सद्रूप) अथवा अन्य (अनात्म - असद्रूप) है?
[3.] ( गौतम !) जिस प्रकार सौधर्म कल्प के विषय में कहा है, उसी प्रकार परमाणु- पुद्गल के विषय में कहना चाहिए।
27. [Q.] Bhante ! Is paramanu- pudgal ( ultimate particle of matter or ultron) self-morphic (atma-roop or existent) or non-self-morphic (anya or non-existent)?
[Ans.] Gautam! Repeat what has been said about Saudharma Kalp also for paramanu-pudgal (ultimate particle of matter or ultron).
२८-१. [ प्र. ] आया भंते! दुपएसिए खंधे, अन्ने दुपएसिए खंधे ?
[.] गोयमा ! दुपएसिए खंधे सिय आया १, सिय नो आया २, सिय अवत्तव्वं - आया इय नो आया इ य ३, सिय आया य नो आया य ४, सिय आया य अवत्तव्वं - आया इ
य नो आया इ य ५, सिय नो आया य अवत्तव्वं-आया इ य नो आया इय ६ ।
२८-१. [प्र.] भगवन्! द्विप्रदेशिक स्कन्ध आत्मरूप (सद्रूप) है, (अथवा ) वह अन्य (अनात्मरूप - असद्रूप ) है ?
