तेउकाय, वायुकाय एवं असंख्यात वर्ष की आयु वाले अकर्मभूमि और अन्तरद्वीप के जीवों । (मनुष्यों व तिर्यंचों) को छोड़कर उत्पन्न होते हैं।
9. [Q.] Bhante ! From where (which genus) do Dharmadevs come and get born? Do they come from among infernal beings etc. (as aforesaid) and 4i get born?
[Ans.] Gautam ! They also follow the aforesaid pattern... and so on up to... Sarvarthasiddha (divine realm) according to the variation as mentioned in Vyutkranti chapter (the sixth chapter of Prajnapana Sutra). However, there is a difference that they never come from Tamah-prabha, Adhahsaptam Prithvi, fire-bodied beings, air-bodied beings, and beings with innumerable years life-span from land of inaction and middle islands, and get born.
१०-१. [प्र. ] देवाहिदेवा णं भंते ! कओहिंतो उववज्जति? किं नेरइएहितो उववज्जंति.? पुच्छा?
[उ.] गोयमा ! नेरइएहिंतो उववज्जंति, नो तिरि., नो मणु., देवेहिंतो वि उववज्जंति।।
१०-१. [प्र.] भगवन् ! देवाधिदेव कहाँ से आकर उत्पन्न होते हैं? क्या वे नैरयिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं? इत्यादि पूर्ववत् प्रश्न।
[उ.] गौतम! वे नैरयिकों से आकर उत्पन्न होते हैं, किन्तु तिर्यञ्चों से अथवा मनुष्यों से आकर उत्पन्न नहीं होते। लेकिन देवों से भी आकर उत्पन्न होते हैं।
10-1. [Q.) Bhante ! From where (which genus) do Devadhidevs come ॐ and get born? Do they come from among infernal beings etc. (as aforesaid) and get born ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! They come from among infernal beings and get born but not from animals and humans; they also come from among divine beings and get born.
१०-२. [प्र.] जइ नेरइएहितो.? [उ.] एवं तिसु पुढवीसु उववति, सेसाओ खोडेयव्वाओ।
१०-२. [प्र.] (भगवन् !) यदि नैरयिकों से आकर उत्पन्न होते हैं, तो क्या रत्नप्रभा पृथ्वी , के नैरयिकों यावत् अधःसप्तम पृथ्वी के नैरयिकों में से आकर उत्पन्न होते हैं?
