[-the twenteeth theme] २६. [प्र.] ते णं भंते ! जीवा किं कोहकसायी, माणकसायी, मायाकसायी, लोभकसायी?
[उ.] गोयमा ! असीई भंगा। [दारं २१]
२६. [प्र.] भगवन्! वे उत्पल के जीव क्रोधकषायी हैं, मानकषायी हैं, मायाकषायी हैं अथवा लोभकषायी हैं?
[उ.] गौतम! यहाँ भी पूर्वोक्त ८० भंग कहना चाहिए।
26. [Q.] Bhante ! Do those souls in Utpal have (four) passions (kashaayas), namely anger (krodh), conceit (maan), deceit (maaya) and greed (lobh) ?

[उ.] गोयमा ! नो इत्थिवेयगा, नो पुरिसवेयगा, नपुंसग वेयए वा नपुंसग वेयगा वा। [दारं २२]।
२७. [प्र.] भगवन्! वे उत्पल के जीव स्त्रीवेदी हैं, पुरुषवेदी हैं या नपुंसकवेदी हैं?
[उ.] गौतम! वे स्त्रीवेदी नहीं, पुरुषवेदी नहीं, परन्तु एक जीव या अनेक जीव सभी 5 ॐ नपुंसकवेदी हैं।
[-बावीसवाँ द्वार]. 27. [Q.] Bhante! Do those living beings in Utpal belong to female gender (stree-vedi), male gender (purush-vedi) or neuter gender (napumsak-vedi) ?
[Ans.] Gautam! They neither belong to female gender nor male gender but to neuter gender irrespective of being one or many.
[-the twenty-second theme] २८. [प्र.] ते णं भंते ! जीवा किं इत्थिवेयबंधगा, पुरिसवेयबंधगा, नपुंसगवेयबंधगा?
