२६. सूरस्स वि सूरप्पभा १, आयवाभा २, अच्चिमाली ३, पभंकरा ४। सेसं तं चेव जाव नो चेव णं मेहुणवत्तियं।
२६. इसी प्रकार सूर्य के विषय में भी जानना चाहिए। सूर्येन्द्र की चार अग्रमहिषियाँ भी हैं-(१) सूर्यप्रभा, (२) आतपाभा, (३) अर्चिमाली और (४) प्रभंकरा। शेष सब वर्णन
पूर्ववत् है यावत् वे अपनी राजधानी की सुधर्मा सभा में सिंहासन पर बैठ कर अपने देवी म परिवार के साथ मैथुन-निमित्तक भोग भोगने में समर्थ नहीं हैं।
26. The same is true for Surya. The four chief consorts of Surya, the king of stellar gods—(1) Suryaprabha, (2) Atapabha, (3) Archimali and (4) Prabhankara. Rest of the description is as mentioned earlier... and so on up to... They cannot enjoy carnal pleasures with their respective families of goddesses in their respective assemblies.
. २७. [प्र.] इंगालस्स णं भंते ! महग्गहस्स कइ अग्ग० पुच्छा। - [उ.] अज्जो ! चत्तारि अग्गमहिसीओ पन्नत्ताओ, तं जहा-विजया १, वेजयंती २, जयंती ३, अपराजिया ४। तत्थ णं एगमेगाए देवीए०, सेसं जहा चंदस्स, नवरं इंगालवडेंसए विमाणे इंगालगंसि सीहासणंसि। सेसं तं चेव।
२७. [प्र.] भगवन्! अंगार (मंगल) नामक महाग्रह की कितनी अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं?
[उ.] आर्यो! (अंगार-महाग्रह की) चार अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं-(१) विजया, (२) वैजयन्ती, म (३) जयन्ती और (४) अपराजिता। इनमें से प्रत्येक अग्रमहिषी के देवी-परिवार का वर्णन
चन्द्रमा के देवी-परिवार के समान है। परन्तु इतना विशेष है कि इसके विमान का नाम अंगारावतंसक और सिंहासन का नाम अंगारक है, इत्यादि शेष समग्र वर्णन पूर्ववत् है।
27. [Q.] Bhante ! How many chief consorts does the great planet (mahagraha) Angaar (Mangal or Mars) have ?
[Ans.] Noble ones! He (Angaar) has four chief consorts—(1) Vijayaa, (2) Vaijayanti, (3) Jayanti and (4) Aparajitaa. The description of the family of goddesses of each of these chief consorts is like that of the family of goddesses of Chandrama. The only difference is that the name of his avatamsak (abode or celestial vehicle) is Angaaravatamsak and that of the throne is Angaarak. The remaining details are as mentioned earlier.
