(६) किम्मपुरुष के दो इन्द्र-सत्पुरुष और महापुरुष, (७) महोरग के दो इन्द्र-अतिकाय और ॐ महाकाय तथा (८) गान्धर्व के दो इन्द्र-गीतरति और गीतयश।
इनके प्रत्येक के चार-चार अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं और प्रत्येक अग्रमहिषी के देवी-परिवार की संख्या एक-एक हजार है। इन इन्द्रों की प्रत्येक की राजधानी और सिंहासन का नाम अपने-अपने नाम के अनुरूप होता है। ये सभी इन्द्र अपनी-अपनी सुधर्मा सभा में अपने देवी परिवार के साथ मैथुन-निमित्तक भोग नहीं भोग सकते हैं। .
Elaboration—There are eight kinds of Vyantar Devas interstitial gods)—(1) Pishaach, (2) Bhoot, (3) Yaksha, (4) Raakshas, (5) Kinnar, (6) 卐 Kimpurush, (7) Mahorag and (8) Gandharva.
Names of two kings (Indras) each of these eight groups of gods-(1) Pishaach-Kaal and Mahakaal, (2) Bhoot-Surupa and Pratirupa, (3) Yaksha-Purnabhadra and Maanibhadra, (4) RaakshasBheem and Mahabheem, (5) Kinnar-Kinnar and Kimpurush, (6) Kimpurush-Satpurush and Mahapurush, (7) Mahorag-Atikaaya and
Mahakaaya and (8) Gandharva-Geetarati and Geet.iyash. .. Each of these kings has four chief consorts and each of these chief consorts has a family of one thousand goddesses. The names of the throne and capital city of each Indra resemble the name of the particular Indra. २५. [प्र.] चंदस्स णं भंते ! जोइसिंदस्स जोइसरण्णो० पुच्छा।
[उ.] अज्जो! चत्तारि अग्गमहिसीओ पन्नत्ताओ, तं जहा-चंदप्पभा १,5 दोसिणाभा २, अच्चिमाली ३, पभंकरा ४। एवं जहा जीवाभिगमे जोइसियउद्देसए तहेव।
२५. [प्र.] भगवान् ! ज्योतिष्केन्द्र ज्योतिष्कराज चन्द्र की कितनी अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं? । _[उ.] आर्यो! ज्योतिष्केन्द्र चन्द्र की चार अग्रमहिषियाँ हैं-(१) चन्द्रप्रभा, (२) ज्योत्स्नाभा, (३) अर्चिमाली एवं (४) प्रभंकरा। शेष समस्त वर्णन जीवाभिगम सूत्र की तीसरी प्रतिपत्ति के के द्वितीय उद्देशक में कहे अनुसार जानना चाहिए।
