___यह दुःखविपाक क्या है? इसमें क्या-क्या वर्णन है?
दुःखविपाक में दुष्कृत्यों (पापों) के दुःख रूप फलों को भोगने वालों के बारे में वर्णन किया ॐ गया है। इसमें दुःखरूप फल भोगने वालों के नगर, उद्यान, चैत्य, वनखण्ड, राजा, माता-पिता, समवसरण,
धर्माचार्य, धर्मकथाएँ, (गौतम स्वामी का भिक्षा हेतु) नगर-गमन, संसार-प्रबन्धों में घिर कर दुःखपरम्पराओं को भोगने का विवरण है। यह दुःख विपाक का परिचय है।
