चत्तारि उसुकारा। दोच्च-चउत्थ-पंचम-छट्ठ-सत्तमासु णं पंचसु पुढवीसु एगूणचत्तालीसं निरयावास-सयसहस्सा पण्णत्ता।
नमि अर्हत् के उनतालीस सौ (३९००) नियत (परिमित) क्षेत्र को जानने वाले अवधिज्ञानी मुनि थे। समय क्षेत्र (अढ़ाई द्वीप) में उनतालीस कुलपर्वतों का उल्लेख है, यथा – तीस वर्षधर पर्वत, पाँच
मन्दर (मेरु) पर्वत तथा चार इषुकार पर्वत - दूसरी पृथ्वी - चौथी पृथ्वी - पाँचवीं पृथ्वी - छठी है पृथ्वी - सातवीं पृथ्वी इन पांच पृथ्वियों में नारकावासों का उल्लेख है जिनकी संख्या उनतालीस लाख | कही गई है। (२५+१०+३+पाँच कम एक लाख और ५-३९)। .
Thirty nine hundred fixed (measured) regions under the domain of Arihant Nami have been said. There were monks having the clairvoyance knowledge are | known of these regions. In the time regions (two and a half continent) thirty nine common mountains have been narrated as:- Thirty Varshdhar Mountains, Five Meru Mountains and four Ikshukar Mountains 30 + 5 + 4 = 39. In these five lands (hell) in second land, fourth land, fifth land, sixth land and seventh land the numbers of infernal residences have been said thirty nine in total as (25 + 10 + 3 + five less one lack and five = 39)
२३८-नाणावरणिज्जस्स मोहणिजस्स गोत्तस्स आउयस्स एयासि णं चउण्हं कम्मपगडीणं | एगूणचत्तालीसं उत्तरपगडीओ पण्णत्ताओ। ____ ज्ञानावरणीय, मोहनीय, गोत्र व आयुकर्म इन चारों कर्मों की उनतालीस-उनतालीस उत्तर प्रकृतियाँ
कही गई हैं। यथा - ज्ञानावरणीय की पाँच, मोहनीय की अट्ठाईस, गोत्र की दो तथा आयुकर्म की * चार उत्तर प्रकृतियाँ।
There is a description of four karmas i.e. knowledge obscuring, delusive, status making and life span determining. The number of Utter tendencies of these four karmas have been said thirty nine as :- five of knowledge obscuring, twenty eight of delusion karmas, two of status making, four of life span determining karmas.
। उनतालीसवां समवाय समाप्त ॥ (The End of Thirty Nineth Samvaya) .
