योगशास्त्र पंचम प्रकाश श्लोक ११९ से २१० ।६६०। चत्वारि वामहस्ते तु, क्रमशः पञ्च वक्षसि । त्रीणि शीर्षे दृशोद्धे, द्वे गुह्य एक शनौ नरे ॥११९॥ ।६६१। निमित्तसमये तत्र, पतितं स्थापना-क्रमात् । जन्मक्षं नामऋक्षं वा, गुह्यदेशे भवेद् यदि ॥१९९।। ।६६२। दृष्टं श्लिष्टं ग्रहैर्दुष्टैः, सौम्यैरप्रेक्षितायुतम् । सज्जस्यापि तदा मृत्यु, का कथा रोगिणः पुनः? ॥२००॥ अर्थ :- शनैश्चरपुरुष के समान आकृति बनाकर फिर निमित्त देखते समय जिस नक्षत्र में शनि हो, उसके मुख
में वह नक्षत्र स्थापित करना चाहिए। उसके बाद क्रमशः आने वाले चार नक्षत्र दाहिने हाथ में स्थापित करना, तीन-तीन दोनों पैरों में चार बाएँ हाथ में, पांच वक्षस्थल में, तीन मस्तक में, दो-दो नेत्रों में और एक गुह्यस्थान में स्थापित करना चाहिए। बाद में निमित्त देखने के समय में स्थापित किये हुए क्रम से जन्मनक्षत्र अथवा नाम-नक्षत्र यदि गुह्यस्थान में आया हो और उस पर दुष्टग्रह की दृष्टि पड़ती हो अथवा उसके साथ मिलाप हो तथा सौम्य ग्रह की दृष्टि या मिलाप न होता हो तो निरोगी होने पर भी
वह मनुष्य मर जाता है; रोगी पुरुष की तो बात ही क्या? ||१९७-२००।। अब लग्न के अनुसार कालज्ञान बताते हैं।६६३। पृच्छायामथ लग्नास्ते, चतुर्थदशमस्थितः । ग्रहाः क्रूराः शशी षष्ठाष्टमश्चेत् स्यात् तदा मृतिः॥२०१॥ अर्थ :- आयुष्य-विषयक प्रश्न पूछने के समय जो लग्न चल रहा हो, वह उसी समय अस्त हो जाये और क्रूरग्रह
चौथे, सातवें या दसवें में रहे और चंद्रमा छठा या आठवाँ हो तो उस पुरुष की मृत्यु हो जाती है
- ॥२०१।। तथा||६६४। पृच्छायाः समये लग्नाधिपतिर्भवति ग्रहः । यदि चास्तमितो मृत्युः, सज्जस्यापि तदा भवेत् ।।२०२॥ अर्थ :- आयु-संबंधी प्रश्न पूछते समय यदि लग्नाधिपति मेषादि राशि में गुरु, मंगल और शुक्रादि हो अथवा
चालू लग्न का अधिपति ग्रह अस्त हो गया हो तो नीरोगी मनुष्य की भी मृत्यु हो जाती है।।२०।। तथा।६६५। लग्नस्थश्चेच्छशी सौरिः, द्वादशो नवमः कुजः । अष्टमोऽर्कस्तदा मृत्युः स्यात् चेत् न बलवान् गुरुः।।२०३। | __अर्थ :- यदि प्रश्न करते समय लग्न में चंद्रमा स्थित हो, बारहवें में शनि हो, नौवें में मंगल हो, आठवें में सूर्य
हो और गुरु बलवान न हो तो उसकी मृत्यु होती है ।।२०३।। तथा||६६६। रविः षष्ठस्तृतीयो वा, शशी च दशमस्थितः । यदा भवति मृत्युः स्यात्, तृतीये दिवसे तदा।।२०४। ।६६७। पापग्रहाश्चेदुदयात्, तुर्ये वा द्वादशेऽथवा । दिशन्ति तद्विदो मृत्यु तृतीये दिवसे तदा ॥२०५।। अर्थ :- उसी तरह प्रश्न करने पर सूर्य तीसरे या छठे में हो और चंद्रमा दसर्वे में हो तो समझना चाहिए; उसकी
तीसरे दिन मृत्यु होगी। यदि पापग्रह लग्न के उदय से चौथे या बारहवें में हों तो कहते हैं कालज्ञान
के जानकार पुरुष की तीसरे दिन मृत्यु हो जायगी ।।२०४-२०५।। तथा।६६८। उदये पञ्चमे वाऽपि यदि पापग्रहो भवेत् । अष्टभिर्दशभिर्वा स्यादिवसैः पञ्चता ततः ॥२०६।। ।६६९। धनुर्मिथुनयोः सप्तमयोर्यद्यशुभा ग्रहाः । तदा व्याधिम॒तिर्वा स्यात्, ज्योतिषामिति निर्णयः ॥२०७।।
अर्थ :- प्रश्न करते समय चालू लग्न अथवा पापग्रह पांचवें स्थान में हो तो आठ या दस दिन में मृत्यु होती है ___ तथा सातवें धनुराशि और मिथुनराशि में अशुभग्रह आये हों तो व्याधि या मृत्यु होती है। ऐसा
