बाह्य काल लक्षण का वर्णन
।५७५। सप्तविंशत्यह वहेत् नाशो मासेन जायते । मासार्धेन पुनर्मृत्युरष्टाविंशत्यहानुगे ॥ ११३ ॥ इसी तरह सत्ताईस दिन तक वायु चलता रहे तो एक महीने में और अठाईस दिन तक चलता रहे तो पंद्रह दिन में ही मृत्यु होती है ।। ११३ ।। तथा
अर्थ :
।५७६। एकोनत्रिंशदहगे, मृतिः स्याद्दशेमऽहनि । त्रिशद्दिनचरे तु स्यात्, पञ्चत्वं पञ्चमे दिने ॥११४॥ अर्थ :- यदि उन्तीन दिन तक एक ही नाडी में वायु चलता रहे तो दस दिन में और तीस दिन तक चलता रहे तो पांचवें दिन मृत्यु होती है ।। ११४ ।। तथा
।५७७। एकत्रिंशदहचरे, वायौ मृत्युर्दिनत्रये । द्वितीयदिवसे नाशो द्वात्रिंशदहवाहिनि ॥११५॥
अर्थ :
इसी प्रकार इकत्तीस दिन तक वायु चले तो तीन दिन में और बत्तीस दिन तक चले तो दो दिन में मृत्यु होती है ।। ११५ ।।
इस प्रकार सूर्यनाड़ी के चार का उपसंहार करके चंद्रनाड़ी के चार को कहते हैं
अर्थ :
।५७८। त्रयस्त्रिंशदहचरे, त्वेकाहेनापि पञ्चता । एवं यदीन्दुनाड्यां स्यात्तदा व्याध्यादिकं दिशेत् ॥ ११६॥ इसी प्रकार तैतीस दिन तक सूर्यनाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो एक हि दिन में मृत्यु हो जाती है। उसी प्रकार यदि चंद्रनाड़ी में पवन चलता रहे तो उसका फल मृत्यु नहीं है, परंतु उतने ही काल में व्याधि, मित्रनाश, महान् भय, स्वदेश का त्याग, धनपुत्रादि का नाश, राज्य का विनाश, दुष्काल आदि होता है ।। ११६ ।।
उपसंहार करते हैं—
। ५७९ । अध्यात्मं वायुमाश्रित्य प्रत्येकं सूर्यसोमयोः । एवमभ्यासयोगेन, जानीयात्, कालनिर्णयम्॥ ११७।। :- इस प्रकार शरीर के अंदर रहे हुए वायु के आश्रित सूर्य और चंद्रनाड़ी का अभ्यास करके काल का निर्णय जानना चाहिए | | ११७ ।।

। ५८० । अध्यात्मविपर्यासः सम्भवेद् व्याधितोऽपि हि । तन्निश्चयाय बध्नाभिः, बाह्यं कालस्य लक्षणम् ॥११८॥ किसी समय व्याधि - (रोग) उत्पन्न होने के कारण भी शरीर संबंधी वायु (उलट-पुलट - विपरीत) हो जाता है। इसलिए काल - ज्ञान का निश्चय करने के लिए काल के बाह्य लक्षणों का वर्णन किया जाता है ।। ११८ ।।
|५८१| नेत्र - श्रोत्र - शिरोभेदात्, स च त्रिविधलक्षणः । निरीक्ष्यः सूर्यमाश्रित्य यथेष्टमपरः पुनः ॥ ११९ ॥ अर्थ नेत्र, कान और मस्तक के भेद से काल तीन प्रकार का माना गया है। यह सूर्य की अपेक्षा से बाह्यकाल का लक्षण है और इससे अतिरिक्त बाह्यलक्षण अपनी इच्छा से देखे जाते हैं ।। ११९ ।। इसमें सूर्य का अवलंबन लेने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। अब इसमें नेत्र- लक्षण कहते हैं

। ५८२। वामे तत्रेक्षणे पद्मं, षोडशच्छदमैन्दवम् । जानीयाद् भानवीयं तु दक्षिणे द्वादशच्छदम् ॥१२०॥ अर्थ :- बा नेत्र में सोलह पंखुड़ी वाला चंद्रविकासी कमल है और दाहिने नेत्र में बारह पंखुड़ी वाला सूर्यविकासी कमल है। ऐसा सर्वप्रथम परिज्ञान प्राप्त करना चाहिए || १२० ॥
।५८३ । खद्योतद्युतिवर्णानि चत्वारिच्छदनानि तु । प्रत्येकं तत्र दृश्यानि, स्वाङ्गुलीविनिपीडनात् ॥१२१॥ अर्थ :- गुरु के उपदेश के अनुसार अपनी अंगुली से आंख के विशिष्ट भाग को दबाने पर उसमें प्रत्येक कमल की चार पंखुड़ियाँ जुगुनू की तरह चमकती हुई दिखाई देती हैं ।। १२१ ।।

**Verse 121:** Four petals of each lotus, resembling the glow of fireflies, should be visible in each eye when pressed with one's finger, as instructed by the Guru.

**Verse 122:** In the Chandra-related lotus, if the four lower petals are not visible, death occurs in six months. If the petals are lost in the eyebrow, forehead, and near the nose, death occurs in six months, three months, and one month respectively.
