अविरहियनाणदंसणचारियगुणवरस्स विरइयं एयं । जिण दत्तायरियस्स उ सीसावयवेण चरियं ति ॥ जं विरइजण पुण्णं महाणुभावचरियं मए पत्तं ।
तेण इहं भवविरहो होउ सया भवियलोयस्स ॥
It will be seen that in the latter one of the two stanzas quoted above there is a play upon the word afta.
Another curious fact about the name of the work is found in कुवलयमाला of उद्योतन which has helped us to a good degree to solve the problem of हरिभद्र's date. उद्योतन calls the work समरमियंका, ___ जो इच्छइ भवविरहं भवविरहं को न बंधए सुयणो।
समयसयसत्थगुरुणो समरमियंका कहा जस्स ॥ In his work संतिनाहचरिय, देवचंद्र the teacher of famous thig refers to this work.
वंदे सिरिहरिभदं सूरि विउसयणणिग्गयपयावं ।
जेण य कहापबंधो समराइच्चो विणिम्मविओ ॥
Thus though of course awe must have named it as समराइच्चचरिय, the name समराइच्चकहा began to be popular quite early. It is however quite difficult to explain why grantcat called it समरमियंका.
