1, वीप्स्य is a word that is repeated; eg एकमेकं where the word is repeated: The rule means that whenever a word is so repeated, the Nom. termination of the first word becomes, or in other words is inserted between the two if the word has an initial vowel; e. g., ч, *** etc.
