देवतामूर्ति-प्रकरणम् where a Siva-linga is installed. (2).
मध्ये यद् ब्रह्मण: सूत्रं तस्य वामे शिवस्य च। तन्मध्ये वैष्णवं सूत्रं तत्सूत्रं सार्वदैवतम् ॥३॥
गर्भ गृह के मध्य में जो ब्रह्मसूत्र है, उसके बाँयी तरफ शिवसूत्र है और शिवसूत्र के मध्य में विष्णुसूत्र है, यह सब देवों का सूत्र है।
To the left of the Brahma-Sutra, the place of which has been described above as being in the centre of the temple’s sanctum sanctorum, is the Siva-Sutra. Between the Brahma-Sutra and Siva-Sutra lies the Vishnu-Sutra. It is the Sutra of all, the gods. (3).
देवत्रय स्थापन क्रम
मध्ये त्रैपुरुषे रुद्र आदौ ब्रह्मान्तगो हरिः। क्रमेण सौरव्यदा एवं विपरीता भयावहाः ॥४॥
ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और रुद्र (महादेव) इन तीनों पुरुषों का एक ही प्रासाद में स्थापन करना हो तो उसका क्रम इस प्रकार है-मध्य में रुद्र, इसकी दाहिनी और ब्रह्मा और बाँयी ओर विष्णु को स्थापित करना सुखदायक हैं। इससे विपरीत स्थापित करे तो भयदायक हैं ॥४॥२ . ,
When installing idols of Brahma, Vishnu and Siva in the same temple the prescribed order is as follows :- Rudra (Siva) should be in the centre, Brahma at the beginning (i.e. to the right), and Hari (Vishnu) at the end (i.e. to the left). This bestows happiness. To do otherwise will engender fear. (4).
रुद्रो वक्त्रा ? सूत्रोत्रिभागेन रिर ? त्रिरर्धेन) पितामहः । तत्तुल्या च उमादेवी सुखदा सर्वकामदा ॥५॥
सूत्र के त्रिभाग से रुद्र, साढे तीन भाग से पितामह/ब्रह्मा (करना) ।इन्हीं के समान उमा देवी भी जो सुखदायी और सर्व कामदात्री है।
