देवतामूर्ति-प्रकरणम्
दुःखंदा हीनवक्त्रा तु पाणिपादकृशा तथा । हीनांगा हीनजङ्घा च भ्रमोन्मादकरी नृणाम् ॥३३॥
हीनमुख वाली और दुर्बल हाथ पैर वाली प्रतिमा दुःखकारक है। हीन अङ्ग वाली और हीन जवावाली प्रतिमा मनुष्यों को भ्रम और उन्माद करने वाली
· Another kind of statue which will bring unhappiness is one with a small face and thin hands and fect. A statue which has disproportionately deficient limbs and small thighs will cause delusion and madness in men. (33).
शुष्कवक्त्रा तु राजानं कटिहीना च या भवेत् । पाणिपाद-विहीनायां जायते मारको महान् ॥३४॥
शुष्क मुखवाली और हीन कटि वाली हो तो राजा का विनाश करने वाली है। हाथ और पैर हीन हो तो बड़ी महामारी करने वाली होती है।
A statue, with a shrivelled or dessicated face and disproportionately.small hips will destroy kings, while a statue that is devoid of hands and feet will cause plague and pestilence in the land. (34). : • जवाजानुविहीना च शत्रुकल्याणकारिणी।
पुत्रमित्रविनाशाय हीना वक्षःस्थलेन या ॥३५ ॥ .:. जो प्रतिमा जङ्घा और जानु हीन हो वह शत्रु का कल्याण करने वाली है। तथा हीन छाती वाली हो तो पुत्र और मित्र का विनाश करने वाली है।१६ . A statue without knee and thighs is an aid to one's enemy; being beneficial for enemies. A statue with a disproportionately small chest is harmful for one's son and friend. (35). पीठ, वाहन और परिवार से खण्डित मूर्ति के दोष
पीठ यान-परीवार-ध्वंसे सति यथाक्रमम्। स्थान-वाहन-भृत्यानां नाशो भवति निश्चितम् ।३६ ॥
