घर में पूजने योग्य प्रतिमा का मान
आरभ्यैकांगुलादूर्ध्वं पर्यन्तद्वादशाङ्गुलम्।
गृहेषु प्रतिमा पूज्या नाधिका शस्यते ततः ॥२० ॥ __घर में एक अङ्गुल से लेकर बारह अङ्गुल तक के नाप की प्रतिमा पूजनीय है और बारह. अङ्गल से अधिक प्रमाण की प्रतिमा घर में नहीं रखनी चाहिये।
Idols which are kept for worship within homes by devotees should be between 1 angula and 12 angulas in size. Statues larger than 12 angulas should not be kept inside residential homes for purposes of worship. (20).
मंदिर में पूजनीय प्रतिमा का मान
तदूर्ध्वान्नवहस्तान्ता पूजनीया सुरालये। दशहस्तादितो यार्चा प्रासादेन विनायेत् ॥२१॥
बारह अङ्गल से अधिक नव हाथ तक के मान की बड़ी प्रतिमा मंदिर में पूजनीय है।
दश हाथ से अधिक बड़ी प्रतिमा प्रासाद के बिना खुले चबूतरे पर पूजनीय
Statues more than 12 angulas in height, and upto a maximum height of 9 hastas should be worshipped in temples. However, statues which are 10 hastas and more in height should be worshipped in the open air and not inside temple-buildings. (21).
दशादिकरवृद्ध्या च षट्त्रिंशत्रतिमाः पृथक् । बाणवेदकरान् यावच्चतुष्क्यां पूजयेत् सुधीः ॥२२॥
दश हाथ से लेकर पैंतालीस हाथ तक के मान की जो छत्तीस प्रकार की प्रतिमायें हैं, वे खुले चबूतरे पर स्थापित करके पूजना चाहिये।
All the 36 types of images which are known should be installed in the open-air for purposes of worship if they are between 10 hastas and 45 ('banavedakaran') hastas in height. (22).
