या प्रोक्ता द्वारमानेन सादौ श्रेष्ठा प्रकीर्तिता ॥१९॥
द्वार की ऊँचाई का तीन भाग करके उनमें से दो भाग की प्रतिमा और एक भाग की पीठ बनाना चाहिये। यह कनिष्ठ, मध्यम और उत्तम प्रतिमा का मान कहा, उनमें प्रथम ज्येष्ठ मान की उत्तम प्रतिमा कहा है।
In the case of a small-scale statue, the height of the portal should be divided into 3 parts. The statue should be equal to 2 of these parts (18), and its base to 1 part.
These are the suggested proportions for the large, medium and small categories of statues in relation to the scale of the doorways. Among these the large scale is considered superior (19). .
