77 ___Virinchi bears a string of prayer-beads, a book, the spoon for offering oblations and a kamandalu in his four arms. An idol of the Virinchi form of Brahma bestows happiness to all in the Dvaparyuga. (5). पितामह
कमण्डलुश्चाक्षसूत्रं शुचिर्वे पुस्तकं तथा। पितामहस्य स्यान्मूर्तिस्त्रेतायां सुखदायिनी ॥६॥
पितामह (ब्रह्मा) की मूर्ति के चारों हाथों में क्रमशः कमण्डलु, माला, होम करने की कर्जा और पुस्तक धारण करने वाली है, यह त्रेता युग में सुख देने वाली है।
. . . The Pitamah form of Brahma is depicted as holding a kamandalu, a string of prayer-beads, the long-handled oblation spoon and a book respectively in his four hands. This stalue gives happiness in the Treytayuga. (6).
पुस्तकं चाक्षसूत्रं च शुचिश्चैव कमण्डलुः । ब्रह्मणश्च भवेन्मूर्तिः कृते स्यात् सुखदायिनी ॥७॥
ब्रह्मा की मूर्ति के चारों हाथों में क्रम से पुस्तक, माला, होम करने की कर्जा और कमण्डलु धारण करने वाली है। यह सत् युग में सुख देने वाली है।
Holding a book, a string. of prayer-beads, the spoon for oblations and a kamandalu respectively, is the statue of Brahma. This image bestows happiness in the Satyuga. (7). सावित्री
अक्षसूत्रं पुस्तकं च धत्ते पद्मं कमण्डलुम् ।
