They enter into a state of trance. Living like this for many years, 'hey die at a point in the eternal flow of time and are born in heaven called Sahasrāra celestial beings. The length of their stay in this heaven is 18 sāgaropamas. They propitiate next birth. The rest as before. 16

से जे इमे गामागर जाव...संनिवेसेसु आजीविका भवंति तं जहा–दुघरंतरिया तिघरंतरिया सत्तघरंतरिया उप्पलबेंटिया घरसमुदाणिया विज्जुअंतरिया उट्टियासमणा ।
ये जो ग्राम, आकर-नमक आदि के उत्पत्ति-स्थान,...यावत् सन्निवेशझोपड़ियों से युक्त बस्ती या सार्थवाह व सेना आदि के ठहरने के स्थान में आजीविक–नियतिवादी होते हैं, जो इस प्रकार हैं : दो घरों को छोड़ कर एक घर से भिक्षा लेने वाले, तीन घरों के अन्तर से-तीन घरों को छोड़कर भिक्षा लेने वाले, सात घरों को छोड़ कर भिक्षा लेने वाले, नियम विशेष से भिक्षा में केवल कमल-डंठल लेने वाले, प्रत्येक घर से भिक्षा लेने वाले, जब विद्युत्-बिजली चमकती हो, तब भिक्षा ग्रहण नहीं करने वाले, मिट्टी से निर्मित नाद जैसे बड़े बर्तन में प्रवेश कर के तप करने वाले।
In the villages, towns etc., till sanniveśas, there live the Ājivikas, such as, those who beg from every third household, those who beg from every fourth household, those who beg from every eighth household, those who accept the lotus stalk as offer, those who beg from every household, those who do not accept an offer after a lightning flash, and those who practise penance in a big earthen jar.
