These were followed by pitchers and jars full of water, divine umbrella flags with câmaras attached and readily visible to the monarch, smaller flags fixed round a long poll whichhold the main ensign called Vaijayanti, which almost touched the sky. All these proceded the royal train. Immediately following these were the brilliant royal umbrella studded with gems called vaidurya, fixed on a beautiful staff decorated with long koranga flowers, and almost as high as the lunar zone and widely spread, the throne and the foot-stool used by. the monarch with the king's slippers placed on it. These were carried by valets especially deployed, surrounded by infantry men. All these preceded the king's train.

उसके बाद बहुत से लष्टिग्राह-लदुधारी, कुन्तग्राह-भालाधारी, चापग्राह-धनुर्धारी, चमरग्राह-चंवर लिये,. पाशग्राह-उद्धत बैलों, अडियल घोड़ों आदि को नियन्त्रित करने हेतु चाबुक आदि लिये हुए, अथवा पासे आदि द्यूत-सामग्री लिये हुए, पुस्तकग्राह--ग्रन्थ आदि लिये हुए, या आयव्यय के ज्ञान के लिये बही-खाते आदि लिये हुए, फलकग्राह-काष्ठपट्ट लिये हुए, पीठग्राह-आसन विशेष लिये हुए, वीणाग्राह-वीणा ग्रहण किये हुए, कूप्यग्राह-पक्व तैल-पात्र लिये हुए या सुगन्धित तैल के शीशे लिये हुए, हडप्पयग्राह-द्रुम नामक सिक्कों के पात्र अथवा ताम्बूल-पान के मसालेसुपारी आदि के पात्र लिये हुए पुरुष यथाक्रम के अनुसार आगे रवाना
