अब्भागमितंमि वा दुहे
अहवा उक्कमिते भवंतिए । एगस्स गती य आगती
विदुमंता सरणं न मन्नइ ॥
A person has to experience his miseries all by himself. After death he goes to the next life all alone. Wise men therefore know that there is nothing in this world which is worth taking shelter of.
दुःख आ पड़ने पर मनुष्य अकेला ही उसे भोगता है । मृत्यु आने पर जीव अकेला ही परभव में जाता है। इस लिए ज्ञानी पुरुष किसी को शरण-रूप नहीं मानते ।
દુઃખ આવી પડે ત્યારે મનુષ્ય તે એકલો જ ભોગવે છે. મૃત્યુ આવે ત્યારે જીવ એકલો જ પરભવમાં જાય છે. એટલા માટે જ્ઞાની માણસો કોઈ પણ વસ્તુને પોતાના શરણરૂપ માનતા નથી.
