कामेहि य संथवेहि गिद्धा कम्मसहा कालेण जंतवो । ताले जह बंधणच्चुए एवं आउक्खयंमि तुट्टइ ॥
Persons engrossed in wordly pleasures and attached to their relatives and friends ultimately face the consequences of thier own Karmas. They die when their life-span is over, just as a Tala fruit falls down, when detached from its stalk.
जैसे तालवृक्ष का फल बंधन तूटने पर गिर पडता है वैसे ही कामभोग में और परिवार में आसक्त जीव अपने कर्म के फल स्वरूप, आयुष्य टूटने पर मृत्यु को प्राप्त होता है ।
જેમ તાલવૃક્ષનું ફળ બંધન તૂટતાં નીચે પડી જાય છે, તેમ કર્મોનું ફળ ભોગવી રહેલા, કામભોગમાં તથા કુટુંબમાં આસક્ત એવા જીવો આયુષ્યનો અંત આવતાં મૃત્યુ પામે છે.
