इस बार कुष्ठी का रूप धारण करके घर में प्रवेश किया। मुनि को चौथा मोदक प्राप्त हो गया। माले के ऊपर बैठे विश्वकर्मा ने इतने रूपों का परिवर्तन करते हुए देखा। उसने सोचा कि यदि यह हमारे बीच रहे तो अच्छा रहेगा लेकिन इसको किस विधि से आकृष्ट करना चाहिए, यह सोचते हुए नट के मन में एक युक्ति उत्पन्न हुई। उसने सोचा पुत्रियों के द्वारा मुनि के मन को विचलित करके ही इसका मन संसार की और खींचा का सकता है।
नट माले से उतरकर मुनि के पास गया और आदरपूर्वक पात्र भरकर मोदकों का दान दिया। नट ने कहा- 'आपको प्रतिदिन हमारे घर भक्तपान ग्रहण करने का अनुग्रह करना है।' वह अपने उपाश्रय में चला गया। विश्वकर्मा ने अपने परिवार के समक्ष आषाढ़भूति की रूप-परिवर्तन विद्या के बारे में बताया तथा अपनी दोनों पुत्रियों से कहा कि तुमको स्नेहयुक्त दृष्टि से दान देते हुए मुनि को अपनी ओर आकृष्ट करना है। आषाढ़भूति प्रतिदिन भिक्षार्थ आने लगा। दोनों पुत्रियों ने वैसा ही किया। मुनि को अपनी ओर अनुरक्त देखकर एक बार एकान्त में उन्होंने मुनि से कहा-'हमारा मन आपके प्रति अत्यधिक आकृष्ट है अत: हमारे साथ विवाह करके भोगों का सेवन करो।'
यह सुनकर मुनि आषाढ़भूति का चारित्रावरणीय कर्म उदय में आ गया, जिससे गुरु का उपदेश रूपी विवेक हृदय से निकल गया। कुल और जाति का अभिमान समाप्त हो गया। मुनि ने दोनों नटकन्याओं को कहा-'ऐसा ही होगा लेकिन पहले मैं गुरु-चरणों में मुनि-वेश छोड़कर आऊंगा।' आषाढ़भूति मुनि गुरु-चरणों में प्रणत हुआ और अपने अभिप्राय को प्रकट कर दिया। गुरु ने प्रेरणा देते हुए कहा'वत्स! तुम जैसे विवेकी, शास्त्रज्ञ व्यक्ति के लिए उभयलोक में जुगुप्सनीय यह आचरण उचित नहीं है। दीर्घकाल तक शील का पालन करके अब विषयों में रमण मत करो। क्या समद्र को बाहों से तैरने वाला व्यक्ति गोपद जितने स्थान में डूब सकता है?' आषाढ़भूति ने कहा-'आपका कथन सत्य है लेकिन प्रतिकूल कर्मों के उदय से, प्रतिपक्ष भावना रूप कवच के दुर्बल होने पर, कामदेव का आघात होने से तथा मृगनयनी रमणी की कटाक्ष से मेरा हृदय पूर्णरूपेण जर्जर हो गया है।' इस प्रकार कहकर उसने गुरु-चरणों में रजोहरण छोड़ दिया। 'मैं ऐसे निष्कारण उपकारी गुरु को पीठ कैसे दिखाऊं' यह सोचकर वह पैरों को पीछे करता रहा। पुनः किस प्रकार गुरु के चरण-कमलों को प्राप्त करूंगा' इस प्रकार विविध विकल्पों के साथ वसति से निकलकर वह विश्वकर्मा के भवन में आ गया।
नटकन्याओं ने आदरपूर्वक मुनि के शरीर को अनिमिष दृष्टि से देखा। उन्होंने अनुभव किया कि मुनि का रूप आश्चर्यजनक है। शरद चन्द्रमा के समान मनोहर इसका मुख मण्डल है। कमलदल की भांति दोनों आंखें हैं, नुकीली नाक तथा कुंद के फूलों की भांति श्वेत और स्निग्ध दांतों की पंक्ति है। कपाट की भांति विशाल और मांसल वक्षस्थल है। सिंह की भांति कटिप्रदेश तथा कूर्म की भांति चरणयुगल हैं।
विश्वकर्मा ने आदरसहित मुनि को कहा-'अहोभाग! ये मेरी दोनों कन्याएं आपको समर्पित हैं। आप इन्हें स्वीकार करें।' नट ने दोनों कन्याओं के साथ आषाढ़भूति का विवाह कर दिया। विश्वकर्मा ने अपनी दोनों कन्याओं को कहा-'जो व्यक्ति मन की ऐसी स्थिति को प्राप्त करके भी गुरु-चरणों की

He went to his shelter. Vishwakarma told his family about the art of transformation of Aṣāḍhabhūti, and told his two daughters, "You should attract the Muni towards you by giving him gifts with affectionate eyes." Aṣāḍhabhūti started coming to beg for food every day. Both daughters did as instructed. Seeing the Muni attracted towards them, once in private, they said to the Muni, "Our mind is greatly attracted to you, therefore, marry us and enjoy pleasures."

Hearing this, the charitravaraniya karma of Aṣāḍhabhūti Muni arose, due to which the wisdom in the form of the Guru's teachings left his heart. The pride of family and caste ended. The Muni said to both the Natakanyas, "It will be so, but first, I will leave the Muni-vesha and go to the Guru's feet." Aṣāḍhabhūti Muni prostrated at the Guru's feet and revealed his intention. The Guru, inspiring him, said, "Vats! For a wise and learned person like you, this conduct, which is repulsive in both worlds, is not appropriate. After observing the rules for a long time, do not now indulge in worldly pleasures. Can a person who swims in the ocean with his arms drown in a space as small as a cow's hoof?" Aṣāḍhabhūti said, "Your words are true, but due to the rise of adverse karmas, the weakening of the protective shield of the opposing feeling, the impact of Kamadeva, and the glances of the beautiful women with deer-like eyes, my heart has become completely shattered." Saying this, he left the Guru's feet. "How can I turn my back on such a benevolent Guru who has freed me?" Thinking this, he kept his feet back. "Again, how will I attain the Guru's lotus feet?" With various options in mind, he left the residence and came to Vishwakarma's house.

Vishwakarma said to the Muni with respect, "Oh fortunate one! These are my two daughters, I dedicate them to you. Please accept them." The Nat married Aṣāḍhabhūti with both his daughters.
