मा -मं कुतः-कउ-कहु-तिहु अथवा-अहवा मनाक्-मणाउं इतः-एत्तहे पश्चात्-पच्छ्इ ततः-तो तदा-तो अन्यथा-अनु
The terminations क्त्वा, तृ, and तव्य are changed as under:(1) क्त्वा ( त्वा) is changed to इ, इउ, ए ( Hema. इवि ), and अवि
कृत्वा = करइ-करइउ-करए-करअवि. (2) त्वा is also changed to एप्पि, एप्पिणु, एपि, and एपिणु ( Hema.
gives एवि and एविणु).
करएप्पि-करएप्पिणु-करएपि-करएपिणु. (3) ą is changed to 0737 (340731 according to Hema. and the
Prakritarupavatara which reads the Sutra as तृनोऽणअलू). भविता-होणउ
श्रोता-सुणउ (4) तव्य is changed to एव्वइ, एप्पइ, and एव्व.
जेतव्यः-जेएव्वइ-जेएप्पइ-जेएव्व.
Hema. gives इएव्वलं, एव्वउ, and एवा as substitutes for तव्य. (5) तुम् is changed to एवम् , अण, अणह, and अणहिं and also to एप्पि,
एप्पिणु, एपि, and एपिणु (एवि, एविणु Hema.). The following suffixes are added as Fathian ( expressive
of the sense of the base itself ). (1) क ( But p is dropped as shown above when अ, अड, and उल्ल
are affixed ). (2) उ to पुनर्, विना, and ध्रुवम्.
पुणु, विणु, ध्रुवु. (3) ऐ and अ to अवश्यम्
अवासें, अवास ( Hema. अवसें). (4) अ and इ to परम् and एकशः respectively.
पर, एगसि ( Hema. एकसि ).
