Similarly, दीसदि, होदि, अन्तरिदं । (3) Sometimes त् even when conjunct is changed to द्.
e. g. णिच्छिन्दो (6. e. निश्चिन्तः), अंदेउरं (अन्तःपुरम् ). (4) Z is changed to य्य instead of to ज as in the Prakrita.
पर्यायः-पज्जाओ (प्रा०)-पय्याओ (शौर०). Similarly, अय्यउत्त. (5) थ् is optionally changed to ध्. In the Prakrita it is changed to हु.
कथा-कधा-कहा
प्रथा-पधा-पहा (6) क्त्वा is changed to इअ and दूण.
भविअ, भोदूण or होदूण. From कृ and गम् the forms are कदुअ and गदुअ in addition to
करिअ-करिदूण, गमिअ-गमिदूण. (7) ननु has f and एव, एव्व. (8) हले is a vocative particle of addressing a female friend. (9) भू optionally substitutes भ instead of ह; भोदि, भोन्ति, भोन्ते,
भोइरे &c., also होदि &c. (10) In the Futures fff is prefixed instead of fe to the termina
tions of the Present Tense.

Here begins the treatment of the Mâgadhî. The follow
ing are its striking features. (1) The Magadhi has the same changes as the Saurasent.
In addition it has the following striking characteristics:(2) स् is changed to श् and to ल. (3) The Nom. Sing. termination is ए; the Gen. Sing. and Gen.
Plu. optionally आह. e. g. पुरुषः-पुलिशे; नरः-नले; हंसः-हंशे
