स्पृहा-छिहा। The Sûtra 'zigaat:- p. 44 is an exception to this Sûtra. ताम्राम्रयोम्बः॥१। ४ । ४९ ।। p. 39The conjunct consonant in these words is changed to - e.g. ताम्रम्-तम्बं (आ being shortened by 'संयोगे' ) । आम्रःअम्बो। Hemachandra observes-'अम्बिरतम्बिर इति देश्यौ'. Laxshmidhara gives the provincial (देश्य ) forms as तम्बर and अम्बर Vide pp. 9.10. Trivikrama says in his Vritti-'तम्बरमम्बरमित्येतौ तु देश्यौ'. The Prakritasarvasva adds कम्र, saying 'आम्रकम्रताने ब:'--We have thus अंबो। कंबो । तंबो। When the termination #q is added, q in it is optionally changed to इताम्रमयः-तम्बमओ-तम्बमइओ। वश्च विह्वले ॥ १।४ । ५२ ॥ p. 40Before this Satra, we have 'a:'11818143 11 which teaches that is optionally changed to भ as in ऊर्ध्व; for 'वा' is to be supplied in this Sûtra from the preceding one 'Field at वा' ।।१।४। ५०॥e. g. ऊर्ध्वः--उब्मो-उद्धो (र and व् being dropped by 'लवरामधश्च')। जिह्वा-जिब्भा-जीहा-जिहा ( Vide pp. 99.100)। गह्वर:-गब्भरोगहरो। प्रहः-पभो-पहो । विह्वल:-विब्भलो (When the conjunct @ is changed to भ)। विच्छलो (When it is changed to छ)। विहलो (When it is not changed to भ or छ, but when c is dropped by 'लवरामधश्च'. Here the consonant ह which remains after the dropping of q is not doubled by the Sätra 'Starristalet:' because of 377: in it, which shows that र and ह as शेष or आदेश are not doubled ), Hemachandra and Markandeya mention one more form भिब्भलो। डेरो ब्रह्मचर्यसौन्दर्ये च ॥ १।४ । ५७ ॥ p. 40In the case of ब्रह्मचर्य, सौन्दर्य, and आश्चर्य which word is to be included according to Trivikrama on account of = in the Sutra ('चकारादाश्चर्ये च त्रिवि), डेर is to be substituted for the final य.
