पपुराणे
धिगीदशी श्रियमतिचञ्चलात्मिका विवर्जितां सुकृतसमागमाशया । इति स्फुटं मनसि निधाय भो जनास्तपोधना भवत रवेजितौजसः ॥४३॥
इत्याचे रविषेणाचार्यप्रोक्ते पद्मपुराणे दशग्रीववधाभिधानं नाम
षट्सप्ततितमं पर्व ॥७६॥
लक्ष्मीका उपभोग कर रावण, पुण्य कर्मका क्षय होने पर इस दुर्दशाको प्राप्त हुआ ॥४२।। इसलिए अत्यन्त चञ्चल एवं पुण्यप्राप्तिकी आशासे रहित इस लक्ष्मीको धिक्कार है। हे भव्य जनो ! ऐसा मनमें विचार कर सूर्यके तेजको जीतने वाले तपोधन होओ-तपके धारक बनो ॥४३॥ इस प्रकार आर्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध, रविषेणाचार्य द्वारा कथित पद्मपुराणमें रावणके
वधका कथन करने वाला छिहत्तरवां पर्व
