पद्मपुराणे
देवदेवं जिनं बिभ्रन्मानसेऽसावनारतम् । केवलित्वमिव प्राप्तः परमं शर्म धारयन् ॥१३॥ लूषितं कलुषं कर्म मन्यमानः सुसम्मदः । सुवृत्तः स्वर्गमारोहत् सुरसङ्घसमावृतः ॥१३॥ स्वर्ग तेन तदा याता भ्रातृस्नेहात् पुरातनात् । भामण्डलचरो दृष्टः कुरौ सम्भाषितः प्रियम् ॥१४॥ तत्रारुणाच्युते कल्पे सर्वकाम गुणप्रदे। अमरीणां सहस्राणि रमयनीश्वरः स्थितः ॥१४१॥ दश सप्त च वर्षाणां सहस्राणि बलायुषः । चापानि षोडशोत्सेधः सानुजस्य प्रकीर्तितः ॥१४२॥ ईक्षमवधार्येदमन्तरं पुण्यपापयोः । पापं दूरं परित्यज्य वरं पुण्यमुपार्जितम् ॥१४३॥
आर्यागीतिः पश्यत बलेन विभुना जिनेन्द्रवरशासने धृति प्राप्तेन । जन्मजरामरणमहारिपवो बलिनः पराजिताः पदमेन ॥१४॥ स हि जन्मजरामरणब्युच्छेदान्नित्यपरमकैवल्यसुखम् । अतिशयदर्लभमनघं सम्प्राप्तो जिनवरप्रसादादतलम् ॥१५॥ मुनिदेवासुरवृषभैः स्तुतमहितनमस्कृतो निषूदितदोषः । प्रमदशतैरुपगीतो विद्याधरपुष्पवृष्टिभिर्दुलच्यः ॥१४६॥ आराध्य जैनसमयं परमविधानेन पञ्चविंशत्यब्दान् । प्राप त्रिभुवनशिखरं सिद्धपदं सर्वजीवनिकायललामम् ॥१४७॥ व्यपगतभवहेतुं तं योगधरं शुद्धभावहृदयधरं वीरम् । अनगारवरं भक्त्या प्रणमत रामं मनोऽभिरामं शिरसा ॥१४८॥
स्वयं केवली पदको प्राप्त हुए के समान परम सुखका अनुभव करता, पाप कर्मको भस्मीभूत मानता, हर्षित तथा सदाचारसे युक्त होता और देवोंके समूहसे आवृत होता हुआ स्वर्गलोक चला गया ॥१३७-१३६।। उस समय उसने स्वर्ग जाते-जाते भाई के पुरातन स्नेहके कारण देवकुरुमें भामण्डलके जीवको देखा और उसके साथ प्रिय वार्तालाप किया ॥१४०।। वह सोतेन्द्र सर्व मनोरथोंको पूर्ण करनेवाले उस आरणाच्युत कल्पमें हजारों देवियोंके साथ रमण करता हुआ रहता था ॥१४१।। रामकी आयु सत्रह हजार वर्षको तथा उनके और लक्ष्मणके शरीरकी ऊँचाई सोलह धनुषकी थी॥१४२।। गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि इस तरह पुण्य और पापका अन्तर जानकर पापको दरसे ही छोड़कर पुण्यका ही संचय करना उत्तम है॥१४३॥ ___ गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि हे राजन् ! देखो जिनेन्द्र देवके उत्तम शासनमें धैर्यको प्राप्त हुए बलभद्र पदके धारी विभु रामचन्द्रने जन्म-जरा-मरण रूपी महाबलवान् शत्रु पराजित कर दिये ॥१४४॥ वे रामचन्द्र, श्री जिनेन्द्र देवके प्रसादसे जन्म-जरा-मरणका व्युच्छेदकर अत्यन्त दुर्लभ, निर्दोष, अनुपम, नित्य और उत्कृष्ट कैवल्य सुखको प्राप्त हुए ॥१४५॥ मुनीन्द्र देवेन्द्र और असुरेन्द्रोंके द्वारा जो स्तुत, महित तथा नमस्कृत हैं, जिन्होंने दोषोंको नष्ट कर दिया है, जो सैकड़ों प्रकारके हर्षसे उपगीत हैं तथा विद्याधरोंकी पुष्प - वृष्टियोंकी अधिकतासे जिनका देखना भी कठिन है ऐसे श्रीराम महामुनि, पच्चीस वर्ष तक उत्कृष्ट विधिसे जैनाचारकी आराधनाकर समस्त जीव समूहके आभरणभूत, तथा सिद्ध परमेष्ठियोंके निवास क्षेत्र स्वरूप तीन लोकके शिखरको प्राप्त हुए ॥१४६-१४७॥ हे भव्य जनो! जिनके संसारके कारण-मिथ्या दर्शनादिभाव नष्ट हो चुके थे, जो उत्तम योगके धारक थे, शुद्ध भाव और शुद्ध हृदयके धारक थे, कर्मरूपी शत्रुओंके जीतनेमें वीर थे, मनको आनन्द देनेवाले थे और मुनियों में श्रेष्ठ थे उन भगवान रामको शिरसे

He, who is praised, honored, and worshipped by the Munindras, Devas, and Asuras, who has destroyed his faults, who is sung by hundreds of types of joy, and whose sight is difficult due to the abundance of flower showers from the Vidyadharas, that great Muni, Rama, attained the peak of the three worlds, the abode of the Siddhas, the ornament of all beings, by worshipping the Jain Dharma for twenty-five years with excellent methods. ||146-147||
O noble ones! Bow your heads to that Lord Rama, who is the holder of yoga, the holder of pure heart and pure feelings, who has destroyed the causes of worldly existence, who is a hero in conquering the enemies of karma, who is pleasing to the mind, and who is the best among the Munis. ||148||
