प्रशान्तहृदयं हन्तुमुद्यताम्पापचेष्टितान् । रन्ध्रप्रहारिणः क्षुद्रान् त्यक्तवीरविचेष्टितान् ॥७२॥ मणिभद्रस्ततोऽवोचत्पूर्णभद्रसमोऽपरः । सम्यक्त्वभावितं वीरं जिनेन्द्रचरणाश्रितम् ॥७३॥ चारुलक्षणसम्पूर्ण शान्तारमानं महाद्युतिम् । रावणं न सुरेन्द्रोऽपि नेतुं शक्तः पराभवम् ॥७॥ ततस्तथाऽस्त्विति प्रोक्त पूर्णभद्रेण तेजसा । गुह्यकाधिपयग्मं तज्जातं विघ्नस्य नाशकम् ॥७५॥ यक्षेश्वरौ परिक्रुद्धौ दृष्ट्वा योधुं समुद्यतौ । लजान्विताश्च भीताश्च गताः स्वं स्वं परामराः ॥७६॥ यक्षेश्वरी महावायुप्रेरितोपलवर्षिणौ । युगान्तमेघसङ्काशौ जातो घोरोरुगर्जितौ ॥७॥ तयोर्जङ्घासमीरेण सा नभश्चरवाहिनी । प्रेरितोदारवेगेन शुष्कपर्णचयोपमा ॥७॥ तेषां पलायमानानां भूत्वानुपदिकाविमौ । उपालम्भकृताकृतावेकस्थौ पदमागतो ॥६॥ अभिनन्द्य च तं सम्यक् पूर्णभद्रः सुधीजगौ । राज्ञो दशरथस्य त्वं श्रीमतस्तस्य नन्दनः ॥८॥ अश्लाध्येषु निवृत्तात्मा श्लाध्यकृत्येषु चोद्यतः । तीणः शास्त्रसमुद्रस्य पारं शुद्धगुणोन्नतः॥॥ ईदशस्य सतो भद्र किमेतत्सहशं विभोः । तव सेनाश्रितैः पौरजनो ध्वंसमुपाहृतः ॥२॥ यो यस्य हरते द्रव्यं प्रयत्नेन समार्जितम् । स तस्य हरते प्राणान् बासमेतद्धि जीवितम् ॥३॥ अनर्घवज्र वैडूर्यविद्रुमादिभिराचिता । लकापुरी परिध्वस्ता त्वदीयैराकुलाङ्गना ॥८॥ प्रौढेन्दीवरसंकाशस्ततो गरुडकेतनः। जगाद तेजसा युक्तं वचनं विधिकोविदः ॥८५॥ एतस्य रघुचन्द्रस्य प्राणेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी । महागुणधरी पत्नी शीलालङ्कारधारिणी ॥६॥ दुरात्मना छलं प्राप्य हृता सा येन रक्षसा। अनुकम्पा त्वया तस्य रावणस्य कथं कृता ॥८॥
और आचारसे रहित हैं। देखो, रावण तो आहार छोड़ ध्यानमें आत्माको लगा शरीरमें भी निस्पृह हो रहा है तथा अत्यन्त शान्तचित्त है फिर भी ये उसे मारनेके लिए उद्यत हैं, पाप पूर्ण चेष्टा युक्त हैं, छिद्र देख प्रहार करने वाले हैं, क्षुद्र हैं और वीरोंकी चेष्टासे रहित हैं ॥७१-७२॥ तदनन्तर जो दूसरे पूर्णभद्रके समान था ऐसा मणिभद्र बोला कि जो सम्यक्त्वकी भावनासे सहित है, वीर है, जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के चरणोंका सेवक है, उत्तम लक्षणोंसे पूर्ण है, शान्त चित्त है
और महा दीप्तिका धारक है ऐसे रावणको पराभव प्राप्त करानेके लिए इन्द्र भी समर्थ नहीं है फिर इनकी तो बात ही क्या है ? ॥७३-७४॥ तदनन्तर तेजस्वी पूर्णभद्रके 'तथास्तु' इस प्रकार कहने पर दोनों यक्षेन्द्र विनका नाश करने वाले हुए ॥५॥ तत्पश्चात् क्रोधसे भरे दोनों यक्षेन्द्रोंको युद्धके लिए उद्यत देख दूसरे देव लज्जासे युक्त तथा भयभीत होते हुए अपने-अपने स्थान पर चले गये ॥७६|| दोनों यक्षेन्द्र तीव्र आँधीसे प्रेरित पाषाणोंकी वर्षा करने लगे तथा अत्यन्त भयंकर विशाल गर्जना करते हुए प्रलय कालके मेघके समान हो गये ॥७७॥ उन यक्षेन्द्रोंकी अत्यन्त वेगशाली जंघाओंकी वायुसे प्रेरित हुई विद्याधरोंकी सेना सूखे पत्तोंके ढेरके समान हो गई अर्थात् भयसे इधर-उधर भागने लगी ।।७८।। उन भागते हुए वानरोंका पीछा करते हुए दोनों यक्षेन्द्र: उलाहना देनेके अभिप्रायसे भी रामके पास आये ||७| उनमें से बुद्धिमान पूर्णभद्र रामकी अच्छी तरह प्रशंसाकर बोला कि तुम श्रीमान् राजा दशरथके पुत्र हो ।।८।। अप्रशस्त कार्योंसे तुम सदा दूर रहते और शुभ कार्यो में सदा उद्यत रहते हो । शास्त्रों रूपी समुद्रके पारको प्राप्त हो तथा शुद्ध गुणोंसे उन्नत हो ॥१॥ हे भद्र ! इस तरह सामर्थ्यवान होने पर भी क्या यह कार्य उचित है कि आपकी सेनाके लोगोंने नगरवासी जनोंको नष्ट-भ्रष्ट किया है ॥२॥ जो जिसके प्रयत्न पूर्वक कमाये हुए धनका हरण करता है वह उसके प्राणोंको हरता है क्योंकि धन बाह्य प्राण कहा गया ॥३॥ आपके लोगोंने अमूल्य हीरा वैडूर्य मणि तथा मूंगा आदिसे व्याप्त लंका पुरीको विध्वस्त कर दिया है तथा उसकी स्त्रियोंको व्याकुल किया है ।।४।।
तदनन्तर सब प्रकारकी विधियोंके जाननेमें निपुण, प्रौढ़ नीलकमलके समान कान्तिको धारण करने वाले लक्ष्मणने ओज पूर्ण वचन कहे ॥२५॥ उन्होंने कहा कि जिस दुष्ट राक्षसने इन

Those who are eager to kill the peaceful-hearted, who are engaged in evil deeds, who are small and strike at the weak points, who are devoid of heroic deeds, should be abandoned. ||72||

Then Mani-bhadra, who was like Purna-bhadra, spoke. He said, "The hero who is imbued with the spirit of right conduct, who is a devotee of the feet of the Jina, who is adorned with excellent qualities, who is peaceful and radiant, even Indra could not defeat Ravana. What to speak of these?" ||73-74||

Then, Purna-bhadra, the radiant one, said, "So be it." Thus, the two Yaksha-indras, who were the destroyers of obstacles, were born. ||75||

Seeing the two Yaksha-indras ready for battle, the other gods, filled with shame and fear, went to their respective places. ||76||

The two Yaksha-indras, driven by a great wind, rained down stones, and roared like thunderclouds at the end of an epoch. ||77||

"Your people have destroyed Lanka, which is filled with priceless diamonds, sapphires, pearls, and corals, and have made its women distraught." ||84||

Then, Lakshmana, who was like a full-blown blue lotus, who was skilled in all the scriptures, spoke with a powerful voice. ||85||

He said, "This wife of Raghu-chandra, who is a repository of great qualities and adorned with virtue, is more precious than his life. ||86||
