पद्मपुराणे भक्तिकल्पितसानिध्य रत्नदीपैर्महाशिखैः । चित्रवल्युपहारैश्च' जिनानानर्च मारुतिः ॥५८॥ ततश्चन्दनदिग्धाः कुलमस्थासकाचितः । सूत्रपत्रोणसंवीताशेषो विगतकल्मपः ॥५६॥ पानरास्फुरज्योतिश्चक्रमौलिमहामनाः । प्रमोदपरमस्फीतनेत्रांशु निचिताननः ॥६॥ ध्यात्वा जिनेश्वरं स्तुत्वा स्तोत्रैरघविनाशनः । सुरासुरगुरोबिम्बं जिनस्य परमं मुहुः ॥६॥ ततः सद्विभ्रमस्थाभिरप्सरोभिरभीक्षितः। विधाय वल्लकीमधे गेयामृतमुदाहरत् ॥६२॥ जिनचन्द्रार्चनन्यस्तविकासिनयना जनाः । नियमावहितात्मानः शिवं निदधते करे ॥६३।। न तेषां दुर्लभं किञ्चित् कल्याणं शुद्धचेतसाम् । ये जिनेन्द्रार्चनासक्ता जना मङ्गलदर्शनाः ॥६॥ श्रावकान्वयसम्भूतिभक्तिर्जिनवरे रढा । समाधिनाऽवसानं च पर्याप्तं जन्मनः फलम् ॥६५॥ उपवीण्येति सुचिरं भूयः स्तुत्वा समय॑ च । विधाय वन्दनां भक्तिमादधानो नवा नवाम् ॥६६॥ अप्रयच्छन् जिनेन्द्राणां पृष्ठं स्पष्टसुचेतसाम् । अनिच्छन्निव विश्रब्धो निर्ययावहंदालयात् ॥६७॥ ततो विमानमारुह्य बीसहस्रसमन्वितः । मेरोः प्रदक्षिणं चक्रे ज्योतिर्देव इवोत्तमः ||६८॥ शैलराज इव प्रीत्या श्रीशैलः सुन्दरक्रियः। करोति स्म तदा मेरोरापृच्छामिव पश्चिमाम् ॥६॥ प्रकीय वरपुष्पाणि सर्वेषु जिनवेश्मसु । जगाम मन्थरं व्योम्नि भरतक्षेत्रसम्मुखः ॥७॥ ततः परमरागाक्ता सन्ध्याऽऽश्लिष्य दिवाकरम् । अस्तक्षितिभृदावासं भेजे खेदनिनीषया ॥७॥
परम उज्ज्वल गन्ध जिसकी धूमशिखा बहुत ऊँची उठ रही थी ऐसा पवित्र द्रव्यसे उत्पन्न धूप, भक्तिसे समीपमें लाकर रक्खे हुए बड़ी-बड़ी शिखाओंवाले दीपक, और नाना प्रकारके नैवेद्यसे ... हनूमान्ने जिनेन्द्रदेवकी पूजा की ॥५६-५८॥ तदनन्तर जिसका शरीर चन्दनसे व्याप्त था, जो केशरके तिलकोंसे युक्त था, जिसका शरीर वस्त्रसे आच्छादित था, जिसके पाप छूट गये थे, जिसका मुकुट वानर चिह्नसे चिह्नित एवं स्फुरायमान किरणोंके समूहसे युक्त था और हर्षके कारण अत्यधिक विस्तृत नेत्रोंकी किरणोंसे जिसका मुख व्याप्त था ऐसे हनूमान्ने जिनेन्द्र भगवान्का ध्यान कर, तथा पापको नष्ट करनेवाले स्तोत्रोंसे सुरासुरोंके गुरु श्री जिनेन्द्रदेवकी प्रतिमाकी बार-बार उत्तम स्तुति की ॥५६-६१॥ तदनन्तर विलास-विभ्रमके साथ बैठी हुई अप्सराएँ जिसे देख रही थी ऐसे हनूमान्ने वीणा गोदमें रख संगीत रूपी अमृत प्रकट किया ॥६२॥ गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि जिन्होंने अपने नेत्र जिनेन्द्र भगवान्की पूजा में लगा रक्खे हैं तथा जिनकी आत्मा नियम पालनमें सावधान है ऐसे मनुष्य कल्याणको सदा अपने हाथमें रखते हैं ॥६३॥ जो जिनेन्द्र भगवान्की पूजामें लीन हैं तथा उनके मङ्गलमय दर्शन करते हैं ऐसे निर्मल चित्तके धारक मनुष्योंके लिए कोई भी कल्याण दुर्लभ नहीं है ॥६४॥ श्रावकके कुलमें जन्म होना, जिनेन्द्र भगवान्में सुदृढ़ भक्ति होना, और समाधिपूर्वक मरण होना, यही मनुष्य जन्मका पूर्ण फल है ॥६५।। इस तरह चिरकाल तक वीणा बजाकर, बार-बार स्तुति और पूजा कर, वन्दना कर तथा नयी-नयी भक्तिकर आत्मज्ञ जिनेन्द्र भगवानके लिए पीठ नहीं देता हुआ हनूमान् नहीं चाहते हुए की तरह विश्रब्ध हो जिन-मन्दिरसे बाहर निकला ॥६६-६७।। तदनन्तर हजारों खियोंके साथ विमानपर चढ़कर उसने उत्तम ज्यौतिषीदेवके समान मेरु पर्वतकी प्रदक्षिणा दी ॥६८॥ उस समय सुन्दर क्रियाओंको धारण करनेवाला हनूमान एक दूसरे गिरिराजके
मिवश, मानो समेरुसे जानेकी अन्तिम आज्ञा ही ले रहा हो ॥६॥ तदनन्तर सब जिनमन्दिरोंपर उत्तम फूल वरषाकर भरतक्षेत्रकी ओर धीरे-धीरे आकाशमें चला ॥७॥
अथानन्तर परमराग ( अत्यधिक लालिमा पक्षमें उत्कट प्रेम ) से युक्त सन्ध्या सूर्यका आलिङ्गनकर खेद दूर करनेकी इच्छासे मानो अस्ताचलके ऊपर निवासको प्राप्त हुई ।।७१।।

He left the Jina temple as if unwillingly, but with a sense of peace. ||66-67|| Then, mounting a chariot with twenty thousand horses, he circumambulated Mount Meru, like a great astrologer. ||68|| Like a king of mountains, Hanuman, adorned with beautiful actions, seemed to be asking for the final permission to leave Mount Meru. ||69|| Then, showering the best flowers on all the Jina temples, he slowly moved through the sky towards the Bharat Kshetra. ||70|| Then, filled with extreme love, the evening embraced the sun, as if she had found her abode on the setting sun, with a desire to dispel sorrow. ||71||
