पश्नपुराणे
ततो गजघटापृष्ठे स्थितं सूर्यसमप्रभम् । आरूहः पुष्पकं रामः सपुत्री भास्करो यथा ॥७२॥ नारायणोऽपि तत्रैव स्थितो रेजे स्वलकृतः। विधुवाँश्च महामेघः सुमेरोः शिखरे यथा ॥७३॥ बाह्योद्यानानि चैत्यानि प्राकारं च ध्वजाकुलम् । पश्यन्तो विविधैर्यानः प्रस्थितास्ते शनैः शनेः ॥७॥ 'त्रिप्रसुतद्विपाश्वीयरथपादातसङ्कलाः । अभवन्विशिखाश्चापध्वजत्रान्धकारिताः ॥७५॥ वरसीमन्तिनोवृन्दैर्गवाक्षाः परिपूरिताः । महाकुतूहलाकीर्णेलवणाङ्कुशदर्शने ॥७॥ नयनाब्जलिभिः पातुं सुन्दर्यो लवणाङ्कुशौ । प्रवृत्ताः न पुनः प्रापुस्तृप्तिमुत्तानमानसाः ॥७॥ तदेकगतचित्तानां पश्यन्तीनां सुयोषिताम् । महासङ्घतो भ्रष्टं न ज्ञातं हारकुण्डलम् ॥७८॥ मातर्मनागितो वक्त्रं कुरु मे किन्न कौतुकम् । भात्मम्भरित्वमेतत्ते कियदच्छिनकौतुके ॥७॥ विनतं कुरु मूर्धानं सखि किञ्चित्प्रसादतः । उन्नद्धाऽसि किमित्येवं घम्मिलकमितो नय ॥॥ किमेव परमप्राणे तुदसि क्षिप्तमानसे। पुरः पश्यसि कि नेमां पीडितां भर्तदारिकाम् ॥८॥ मनागवसृता तिष्ठ पतितास्मि गताऽसि किम् । निश्चेतनत्वमेवं त्वं किं कुमारं न वीक्षसे ॥२॥ हा मातः कीदृशी योषिद्यदि पश्यामि तेऽत्र किम् । इमां मे प्रेरिकां कस्मात्वं वारयसि दुबले ॥३॥ एतौ तावद्धचन्द्राभललाटौ लवणाङ्कुशौ। यानेतौ रामदेवस्य कुमारौ पार्श्वयोः स्थितौ ॥८॥ अनङ्गलवणः कोऽत्र कतरो मदनाङ्कुशः । अहो परममेतौ हि तुल्याकारावुभावपि ॥८५॥ महारजतरागाक्तं वारवाणं दधाति यः । लवणोऽयं शुकच्छायवस्रोऽसाव कुशो भवेत् ॥८६॥
सुन्दर है उसका आभूषण सम्बन्धी आदर पद्धति मात्रसे किया जाता है अर्थात् वह पद्धति मात्रसे आभूषण धारण करती है ।।७१॥ तदनन्तर जो गजघटाके पृष्ठ पर स्थित सूर्यके समान कान्तिसम्पन्न था ऐसे पुष्पक विमान पर राम अपने पुत्रों सहित आरूढ हो सूर्यके समान सुशोभित होने लगे ॥७२॥ जिस प्रकार विजलीसे सहित महामेघ, सुमेरुके शिखर पर आरूढ होता है उसी प्रकार उत्तम अलंकारांसे सहित लक्ष्मण भी उसी पुष्पक विमान पर आरूढ हुए ॥७३॥ इस प्रकार वे सब नगरीके बाहरके उद्यान, मन्दिर और ध्वजाओंसे व्याप्त कोटको देखते हुए नानाप्रकारके वाहनोंसे धीरे-धीरे चले ॥३४॥ जिनके तीन स्थानोंसे मद कर रहा था ऐसे हाथी, घोड़ोंके समूह, रथ तथा पैदल सैनिकोंसे व्याप्त नगरके मार्ग, धनुष, ध्वजा और छत्रोंके द्वारा अन्धकार युक्त हो रहे थे ।।७५॥ महलोंके झरोखे, लवणांकुशको देखनेके लिए महा कौतूहलसे युक्त उत्तम स्त्रियोंके समूहसे परिपूर्ण थे ।।७६॥ नयन रूपी अञ्जलियोंके द्वारा लबणाङ्कुशका पान करनेके लिए प्रवृत्त उदार हृदया स्त्रियाँ संतोषको प्राप्त नहीं हो रहीं थीं ॥७७॥ उन्हीं एकमें जिनका चित्त लग रहा था ऐसी देखने वाली स्त्रियोंके पारस्परिक धक्का धूमीके कारण हार और कुण्डल टूट कर गिर गये थे पर उन्हें पता भी नहीं चल सका था ॥८।। हे मातः ! जरा मुख यहाँसे दूर हटा, क्या मुझे कौतुक नहीं है ? हे अखण्डकौतुके ! तेरी यह स्वार्थपरता कितनी है ? ||७६।। हे सखि ! प्रसन्न होकर मस्तक कुछ नीचा कर लो, इतनी तनी क्यों खड़ी हो । यहाँसे चोटीको हटा लो ॥८॥ हे प्राणहीने ! हे क्षिप्त हृदये! इस तरह दूसरेको क्यों पीड़ित कर रही है ? क्या आगे इस पीड़ित लड़कीको नहीं देख रही है ? ।।८।। जरा हटकर खड़ी होओ, मैं गिर पड़ी हूँ, इस तरह तू क्या निश्चेतनताको प्राप्त हो रही है ? अरे कुमारको क्यों नहीं देखती है ? ॥२॥ हाय मातः ! कैसी स्त्री है ? यदि मैं देखती हूँ तो तुझे इससे क्या प्रयोजन ? हे
