पञ्चाशीतितमं पर्व
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे राजन् भगवान् देशभूषणः । कुलभूषणयुक्तश्च सम्प्राप्तो मुनिभिः समम् ॥१॥ ययोवंशगिरावासीत् प्रतिमां चतुराननाम् । श्रितयोरुपसर्गोऽसौ जनितः पूर्ववैरिणा ॥२॥ पालचमणवीराभ्यां प्रातिहार्य कृते ततः । केवलज्ञानमुत्पन्नं लोकालोकावभासनम् ॥३॥ ततस्तुष्टेन तार्येण भक्तिस्नेहमुपेयुषा । रत्नास्त्रवाहनान्याभ्यां दत्तानि विविधानि वै ॥४॥ यत्प्रसादानिरस्त्रत्वं प्राप्तौ संशयिती रणे । चक्रतुर्विजयं शत्रोर्यतो राज्यमवापतुः ॥५॥ देवासुरस्तुतावेतौ तौ लोकत्रयविश्रुतौ । मुनीन्द्रौ नगरीमुख्यां प्राप्तावुत्तरकोशलाम् ॥६॥ नन्दनप्रतिमे तौ च महेन्द्रोदयनामनि । उद्यानेऽवस्थितौ पूर्व यथा सञ्जयनन्दनौ ॥७॥ महागणसमाकीणों चन्द्रार्कप्रतिमाविमौ । सम्प्राप्ती नगरीलोको विवेद परमोदयौ ॥८॥ ततः पद्माभचक्रेशी भरतारिनिषूदनौ । एते बन्दारवो गन्तुं संयतेन्द्रान समुद्यताः ॥६॥ आरुह्य वारणानुप्रानुक्रवा भानौ समुद्गते । जातिस्मरं पुरस्कृस्य त्रिलोकविजयं द्विपम् ॥१०॥ देवा इव प्रदेशं तं प्रस्थिताश्चारुचेतसः । कल्याणपर्वतौ यत्र स्थितौ निर्ग्रन्थसत्तमौ ॥११॥ कैकया कैकयी देवी कोशलेन्द्रारमजा तथा । सुप्रजाश्चेति विख्यातास्तेषां श्रेणिक मातरः ॥१२॥ जिनशासनसद्भावाः साधुभक्तिपरायणाः । देवीशतसमाकीर्णा देव्याभा गन्तुमुद्यताः । १३॥
अथानन्तर गौतम स्वामी राजा श्रेणिकसे कहते हैं कि हे राजन् ! इसी बीच में अनेक मुनियोंके साथ-साथ देशभूषण और कुलभूषण केवली अयोध्यामें आये ॥१॥ वे देशभूषण कुलभूषण जिन्हें कि वंशस्थविल पर्वत पर चतुरानन प्रतिमा योगको प्राप्त होने पर उनके पूर्वभवके वैरीने उपसर्ग किया था और वीर राम-लक्ष्मणके द्वारा सेवा किये जाने पर जिन्हें लोकालोकको प्रकाशित करनेवाला केवलज्ञान उत्पन्न हुआ था ॥२-३।। तदनन्तर संतोषको प्राप्त हुए गरुडेन्द्रने भक्ति और स्नेहसे युक्त हो राम-लक्ष्मणके लिए नानाप्रकारके रत्न, अस्त्र और वाहन प्रदान किये थे ॥४॥ निरस्त होनेके कारण रणमें संशय अवस्थाको प्राप्त हुए राम-लक्ष्मणने जिनके प्रसादसे शत्रुको जीता था तथा राज्य प्राप्त किया था ॥५।। देव और धरणेन्द्र जिनकी स्तुति कर रहे थे तथा तीनों लोकों में जिनकी प्रसिद्धि थी ऐसे वे मुनिराज देशभूषण तथा कुलभूषण नगरियोंमें प्रमुख अयोध्या नगरीमें आये ॥६॥ जिसप्रकार पहले संजय और नन्दन नामक मुनिराज आये थे उसी प्रकार आकर वे नन्दनवनके समान महेन्द्रोदय नामक वनमें ठहर गये ॥७॥ वे केवली, मुनियोंके महासंघसे सहित थे, चन्द्रमा और सूर्य के समान देदीप्यमान थे तथा परम अभ्युदयके धारक थे। उनके आते ही नगरीके लोगोंको इनका ज्ञान हो गया ।।८।। तदनन्तर वन्दना करनेके अभिलाषी राम, लक्ष्मण, भरत और शत्रुघ्न ये चारों भाई उन केवलियोंके पास जानेके लिए उद्यत हुए ॥६॥ सूर्योदय होने पर उन्होंने नगर में सर्वत्र घोषणा कराई । तदनन्तर उन्नत हाथियों पर सवार हो एवं जातिस्मरणसे युक्त त्रिलोकमण्डन हाथीको आगे कर देवोंके समान सुन्दर चित्तके धारक होते हुए वे सब उस स्थानकी ओर चले जहाँ कि कल्याणके पर्वतस्वरूप दोनों निर्ग्रन्थ मुनिराज विराजमान थे ॥१०-११।। जिनका उत्तम अभिप्राय जिनशासनमें लग रहा था, जो साधुओंकी भक्ति करने में तत्पर थीं, सैकड़ों देवियाँ जिनके साथ थीं तथा देवाङ्गनाओंके समान जिनकी आभा थी ऐसी हे श्रेणिक ! उन चारों भाइयों की माताएँ कौशल्या, सुमित्रा, कैकेयी और सुप्रजा ( सुप्रभा) भी जानेके लिए उद्यत हुई

In the meantime, O King, the Kevalis, Desa-bhushan and Kula-bhushan, arrived in Ayodhya along with many other Munis. ||1||

These Desa-bhushan and Kula-bhushan, who had attained the four-faced image on the Vansasthavil mountain, were subjected to an upsarga by their former enemy. And after being served by the valiant Rama and Lakshmana, they attained the Kevala-jnana, which illuminates all the worlds. ||2-3||

Thereafter, Garuda-indra, who was pleased, gave Rama and Lakshmana various kinds of jewels, weapons, and vehicles, filled with devotion and affection. ||4||

Rama and Lakshmana, who had attained a state of doubt in battle due to being disarmed, conquered their enemies and obtained their kingdom by the grace of these Kevalis. ||5||

These two Munis, Desa-bhushan and Kula-bhushan, who were praised by the Devas and Asuras, and whose fame spread throughout the three worlds, arrived in the city of Ayodhya, the most important of cities. ||6||

They stayed in the forest called Mahendrodya, which was like the Nandana-vana, just as the Munis Sanjay and Nandan had arrived earlier. ||7||

These Kevalis, accompanied by the great assembly of Munis, were radiant like the moon and the sun, and were the bearers of the highest good. The people of the city became aware of their arrival. ||8||

Thereafter, Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna, eager to pay their respects, were ready to go to the Kevalis. ||9||

When the sun rose, they announced it throughout the city. Then, mounted on their magnificent elephants, with the three-world-adorning elephant, Jatismaran, leading the way, they set out, with beautiful minds like the Devas, towards the place where the two Kevalis, Desa-bhushan and Kula-bhushan, were seated, like mountains of auspiciousness. ||10-11||

O Shrenik, their mothers, Kaushalya, Sumitra, Kaikeyi, and Supraja (Suprabha), who were devoted to the Jain religion, eager to serve the virtuous, accompanied by hundreds of female attendants, and radiant like celestial nymphs, were also ready to go. ||12-13||
