(34) Dekh, ham logon ke liye to nindaniya dāsiyāṅ gandhodaka lāī hain par tere liye yah variṣṭha evam pavitra kañcukī lāyā hai. (35) Tere prati svāmī kī aisī uttama prīti hai isī se yah bhed huā hai phir asamay me kyun kuḍit ho rahi hai? (36) Phir svāmī tere pīche baḍe prayatna se laṭak rahe hain. Atah in par prasanna ho kyunki sneha ke kāraṇa striyaṅ aparādha hone par bhī saṃtuṣṭ hi rahati hain. (37) He kaṭhorahṛdaye! Jab tak patipar krodh kiyā jātā hai tab tak he śobhane! sāṃsārik sukh me vighna hi jānā chāhiye. (38) Vāstu me to ham logon kā maran uchit thā par hamen to gandhodaka se prayojanam thā.
