महालोचनदेवस्य तदमिध्यानमात्रतः । सुखावस्थस्य सहसा सिंहासनमकम्पत ।।१३२॥ आलोक्यावधिनेत्रेण ततो विज्ञाय संभ्रमी । विद्याभ्यां प्राहिणोद्युक्तं चिन्तावेगं निजं सुरम् ॥१३३॥ 'गत्वा कथितः क्षेमः संदेशः सादरं सुरः । ताभ्यामुद्धे ददौ विद्ये परिवारसमन्विते ॥१३४॥ 'सैंह पद्मावदातस्य यानमर्पयदद्भुतम् । समुद्योतितदिक्चक्रं सौमित्राय च गारुडम् ॥१३५।। 'विद्ये संप्राप्य संमान्य धीरौ चिन्तागतिं मुदा । पृष्टवातौं जिनेन्द्राणां पूजां तौ चक्रतुः परम् ॥१३६॥ परं साधुप्रसादं च प्रस्तावे संगतोदयम् । सशंसतुर्मुदोदारगुणग्रहणतत्परौ ॥१३७॥ 'अद्राष्टां च सुरास्त्राणि भासुराणि सहस्रशः । वारुणाग्निमरुत्सृष्टिप्रभृतीनि सुविभ्रमौ ॥१३८॥ चन्द्रादिस्यसमे छत्रे चारुचामरमण्डिते । रत्नानि च प्रदत्तानि पिहितानि निजौजसा ॥१३९॥ गदाप्रहरणं विद्यद्वक्त्रा लक्ष्मीधरं श्रिता । हलं समसलं पद्मं दैत्यानां भयकारणम् ।।१४०॥ महिमानं परं प्राप्य ताभ्यां संमदसंगतः । आशीःशतानि दत्वासौ गतो देवस्त्रिविष्टपम् ॥१४॥
मन्दाक्रान्तावृत्तम् धर्मस्यैतद्विधियुतकृतस्यानवद्यस्य धोरैज्ञयं स्तुत्यं फलमनुपम युक्तकालोपजातम् । यत्संग्राप्य प्रमदकलिताः दूरमक्कोपसर्गाः संजायन्ते स्वपरकुशलं कर्तमद्भूतवीर्याः ॥१४२॥
हम लोगोंको जो वर प्राप्त हुआ था उसका स्मरण करो ॥१३१।। उसी समय रामके स्मरण मात्रसे सुखसे बैठे हुए महालोचन नामक गरुड़ेन्द्रका सिंहासन सहसा कम्पायमान हुआ ॥१३२॥ तदनन्तर अवधिज्ञानरूपी नेत्रके द्वारा सब समाचार जानकर गरुड़ेन्द्रने शीघ्र ही दो विद्याओंके साथ अपना चिन्तावेग नामक देव भेजा ॥१३३।। वहां जाकर जिसने आदरके साथ कुशल सन्देश सुनाया था ऐसे उस देवने राम-लक्ष्मणके लिए परिवारसे सहित दो प्रशस्त विद्याएं दीं ॥१३४।। रामके लिए तो आश्चर्य उत्पन्न करनेवाली सिंहवाहिनी विद्या और लक्ष्मणके लिए दिक्समूहको देदीप्यमान करनेवाली गरुड़वाहिनी विद्या दी ॥१३५॥ धीरवीर राम-लक्ष्मणने, दोनों विद्याएँ प्राप्त कर चिन्तागति देवका बड़ा सम्मान किया, उससे कुशल समाचार पूछा और तदनन्तर जिनेन्द्रदेवको उत्तम पूजा की ।।१३६।। उत्तम गुणोके ग्रहण करने में तत्पर रहनेवाले राम-लक्ष्मणने योग्य अवसरपर प्राप्त हुए गरुड़ेन्द्रके उस उत्तम प्रसादको बड़े हर्षसे स्तुतिकी प्रशंसा की ॥१३७॥ उत्तम शोभाको धारण करनेवाले राम-लक्ष्मणने उसी समय वारुणास्त्र, आग्नेयास्त्र तथा वायव्यास्त्र आदि हजारों देवोपनात देदीप्यमान शस्त्र सामने खड़े देखे अर्थात् उस देवने वे सब शस्त्र उन्हें दिये ॥१३८।।
सुन्दर चमरोंसे सुशोभित चन्द्रमा और सूर्यके समान छत्र तथा अपनी कान्तिसे आच्छादित अनेक रत्न भी उस देवने प्रदान किये ॥१३९॥ विद्युद्वक्त्र नामक गदा लक्ष्मणको प्राप्त हई और दैत्योंको भय उत्पन्न करनेवाले हल तथा मुसल नामक शस्त्र रामको प्राप्त हुए ॥१४०।। इस प्रकार वह देव राम-लक्ष्मणके साथ हपपूर्वक मिलकर तथा परम महिमाको प्राप्त कर उन्हें सैकड़ों आशीर्वाद देता हुआ अपने स्थानको चला गया है ।।१४१||
गौतम स्वामी राजा श्रेणिकसे कहते हैं कि हे राजन् ! जो योग्य समयपर प्रशंसनीय एवं अनुपम फलकी प्राप्ति होती है वह विधिपूर्वक किये हए निर्दोष धर्मका ही फल है ऐसा धीरवीर मनुष्योंको जानना चाहिए। धर्मसे वह फल प्राप्त होता है जिसे पाकर मनुष्य उत्तम हर्षसे यक्त होते हैं, उनके उपसर्ग दूरसे ही छूट जाते हैं और वे महाशक्तिसे सम्पन्न हो स्वपरका कल्याण

Knowing this through his all-seeing eyes, he immediately sent his own चिन्तावेग (Chintavega) with two विद्या (Vidya)s. ||133||
Going there, the देव (deva) who had delivered the message of well-being with respect, gave two excellent विद्या (Vidya)s to Rama and Lakshmana, along with their families. ||134||
For Rama, he gave the wondrous विद्या (Vidya) of the lion-chariot, and for Lakshmana, the Garuda-chariot विद्या (Vidya) that illuminated the directions. ||135||
Receiving the विद्या (Vidya)s, the valiant Rama and Lakshmana honored the चिन्तागति (Chintagaati) deva, inquired about his well-being, and then performed the highest worship of the Jina. ||136||
Eager to receive the excellent qualities, Rama and Lakshmana praised the excellent grace of Garuda, which they had received at the right time, with great joy. ||137||
At that time, Rama and Lakshmana saw thousands of shining divine weapons, such as the Varuna, Agni, and Marut weapons, standing before them, meaning the deva had given them all those weapons. ||138||
The deva also gave them umbrellas like the moon and sun, adorned with beautiful चामर (chamar)s, and many jewels covered in their own brilliance. ||139||
Lakshmana received the mace called विद्युद्वक्त्र (Vidyuvaktara), and Rama received the हल (hala) and मुसल (musala) weapons, which caused fear to the demons. ||140||
Thus, the deva, having attained supreme glory, met with Rama and Lakshmana with joy, gave them hundreds of blessings, and then went to his own abode. ||141||
Gautama Swami tells King Shrenika, "O King! Wise people should know that the fruit of righteous conduct, performed according to the rules, is blameless, praiseworthy, and has unparalleled results, which are obtained at the right time. By obtaining this fruit, people become filled with joy, their misfortunes are removed from afar, and they become endowed with great power, capable of doing good for themselves and others." ||142||
