सप्तपञ्चाशत्तमं पर्व
परसैन्यससश्लेषमसृण्यन्तोऽथ मानवाः । उद्गच्छदर्पंसंक्षोभ्या हृष्टाः संनद्धुमुद्यताः ॥ १ ॥ उद्वेष्टय दषिताबाहुपाशं कृच्छ्रेण केचन । संक्षुभ्य सिंहसंकाशा लङ्कातो निर्ययुर्मदाः ॥ २ ॥ वीरपत्नी प्रियंकाविदालयैवमभाषत । श्रुतानेक महायोधपरमाहवविभ्रमा ॥३॥ संकटे यदि नाथागमिष्यसि । दुर्यशस्तदहं प्राणान् मोक्ष्यामि श्रुतिमात्रतः ॥ ४॥ कः यो वीराणामेतिगर्विताः । धिक्शब्दं मे प्रदास्यन्ति किं नु कष्टमतः परम् ॥५॥ रणप्रत्यागतं भीरनुरोघप्रविभूषणम् । विशीर्णकवचं प्राप्तजयलब्धभटस्तवम् ॥ ६ ॥ दक्ष्यामि यदि धन्याहं भवन्तमविकत्थनम् । जिनेन्द्रानर्चयिष्यामि ततो जाम्बूनदाम्बुजैः ॥७॥ आभिमुख्यादतं मृत्युं वरं प्राप्ता महाभटाः । पराङ्मुखा न जीवन्तो चिक्शब्दमलिनीकृताः ॥८॥ स्वयमुखी काचिदालिङ्गच मानवम् ! जगाद पुनरेवं सा ग्रहीष्यामि जयान्वितम् ॥९॥ भवद्भक्षस्थलस्यानरक्तचन्दनचर्चया । परां स्तनद्वयं शोभां मम यास्यति सर्वथा ॥ १० ॥ प्रातिवेश्मिकयोधानामपि पत्नी जितप्रियाम् । न सहे कुत एवेश सहिष्ये त्वां विनिर्जितम् ॥११॥ विना हताशं व्रणभूषणम् । पुराणं रूढकं जातं ततो नैवातिशोभसे ॥१२॥ अतो नववन्यस्तस्तनमण्डलसौख्यदम् । द्रक्ष्येऽहं वीरपत्नीभिर्विकासिमुखपङ्कजा ॥१३॥
अथानन्तर परचक्र के आक्रमणको नहीं सहन करनेवाले मनुष्य उठते हुए अहंकारसे क्षुभित हो हर्षपूर्वक कवच आदिक धारण करनेके लिए उद्यत हुए ||१|| सिंहकी समानता करनेवाले कितने ही शूरवीर योद्धा गलेमें पड़े हुए प्राणवल्लभाके बाहुपाशको बड़ी कठिनाईसे दूर कर क्षुभित हो लंकासे बाहर निकल आये ||२|| जिसने महायुद्ध में अनेक बड़े-बड़े योद्धाओंकी चेष्टाओंका वर्णन सुन रखा था, ऐसी किसी वीरपत्नीने पतिका आलिंगन कर इस प्रकार कहा कि ||३|| हे नाथ ! यदि संग्राम से घायल होकर पीछे आओगे तो बड़ा अपयश होगा और उसके सुनने मात्रसे ही मैं प्राण छोड़ दूँगी ||४|| क्योंकि ऐसा होनेसे वीर किंकरोंकी गर्वीली पत्नियाँ मुझे धिक्कार देंगी । इससे बढ़कर कटकी बात और क्या होगी ? ||५|| जिनके वक्षस्थल में घाव आभूषणके समान सुशोभित हैं, जिनका कवच टूट गया है, प्राप्त हुई विजयसे योद्धागण जिनकी स्तुति कर रहे हैं, जो अतिशय धीर हैं तथा गम्भीरताके कारण जो अपनी प्रशंसा स्वयं नहीं कर रहे हैं ऐसे आपको युद्ध से लौटा हुआ यदि देखूंगी तो मैं सुवर्णमय कमलोंसे जिनेन्द्रदेवकी पूजा करूँगी ||६ - ७॥ महायोद्धाओंका सम्मुखागत मृत्युको प्राप्त हो जाना अच्छा है किन्तु पराङ्मुखको धिक्कार शब्दसे मलिन जीवन बिताना अच्छा नहीं है ||८|| कोई स्त्री दोनों स्तनोंसे पतिका आलिंगन कर बोली कि जब आप विजयी हो लौटकर आयेंगे तब फिर ऐसा ही आलिंगन करूंगी ||९|| आपके वक्षस्थलके गागा रक्तरूपी चन्दनोंकी चर्चासे मेरे दोनों स्तन सब प्रकारसे परम शोभाको प्राप्त होंगे || १० || हे स्वामिन् ! जिसका पति हार जाता है ऐसी पड़ोसी योद्धाओंको पत्नीको भी मैं सहन नहीं करती फिर हारे हुए आपको किस प्रकार सहन करूँगी ? ||११|| कोई स्त्री बोली कि हे नाथ ! आपका यह अभागा पुराना घावरूपी आभूषण रूढ़ हो गया है- पुरकर सूख गया है, इसलिए आप अधिक सुशोभित नहीं हो रहे हैं ||१२|| अब नूतन घावपर रखे हुए स्तनमण्डलको सुख

I cannot bear to see wives of neighboring warriors whose husbands are defeated; how will I bear to see you, having been vanquished?” ||11|| Another woman stated, “O Lord! This old ornament-like beauty of yours is worn and has become dry, therefore you do not look very splendid.” ||12|| “Now I will see your bosom, which is filled with happiness and joy, and it will be as glorious as newly blossomed lotuses when you return victorious.” ||13||
