पद्मपुराणे
उपजातिवृत्तम् एषोऽपि तुङ्गः परमो महीध्रः श्रीमन्नितम्बो बहुधानुसानुः । विलम्पतीभिः ककुमां समूहं भासाचकाज्जैनगृहावलीभिः ॥४४॥ रामेण यस्मात्परमाणि तस्मिन् जैनानि वेइमानि विधापितानि । निर्नष्टवंशाद्विवचाः स तस्मादविप्रभो रामगिरिः प्रसिद्धः॥४५॥
इत्या रविषेणाचार्यप्रोक्त पद्मचरिते रामगिर्यपाख्यानं नाम चत्वारिंशत्तमं पर्व ॥४०॥
इधर जिसकी मेखलाएँ शोभासे सम्पन्न थीं, तथा जिसके शिखर अनेक धातुओंसे युक्त थे ऐसा यह ऊँचा उत्तम पर्वत दिशाओंके समूहको लिप्त करनेवाली जिनमन्दिरोंकी पंक्तिसे अतिशय सुशोभित होता था ॥४४॥ चूंकि उस पर्वतपर रामचन्द्रने जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के उत्तमोत्तम मन्दिर बनवाये थे इसलिए उसका वंशाद्रि नाम नष्ट हो गया और सूर्यके समान प्रभाको धारण करनेवाला वह पर्वत 'रामगिरि के नामसे प्रसिद्ध हो गया ॥४५॥
इस प्रकार आर्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध, रविषेणाचार्य विरचित पद्मचरितमें रामगिरिका
वर्णन करनेवाला चालीसवाँ पर्व समाप्त हुआ ॥१०॥
