131st Chapter
1. "O Lords who grant the Teachings, what should I do as is appropriate? Should I carry the holy sandals on my head or what?" [84]
2. "This Vindhya mountain is filled with treasures and hundreds of beautiful women. O divine ones! Please indicate to me some excellent revenue that the seekers may desire." [85]
3. Saying this, he made obeisance and again fell into extreme distress, collapsing on the ground like a tree uprooted. [86]
4. Then, Rama, who was like a great tree embraced by the creeper of compassion, spoke to him thus: "Get up, get up, do not fear. Quickly free Bālakhilya from bondage and bring him here with the highest honor." [87-88]
5. Becoming his desired minister, abandoning association with the mlecchas, he became beneficial for the country. [89]
6. "If you do all this without any deviation, then there will be peace for you, otherwise you will die today." [90]
7. Saying "I will do so, O Lord", he reverentially bowed to Rama and, with humility, went and released Bālakhilya. [91]
8. Then, after bathing him well, anointing and adorning him, he proceeded to bring him in a chariot to Rama's presence. [92]
9. As he was being brought with such honor, Bālakhilya was filled with the utmost wonder, thinking "My condition is likely to become even more grave than this." [93]
10. "Where is this extremely cruel, evil-doer mleccha enemy, and where is this great honor? It seems that I will not survive today." [94]
11. While Bālakhilya was going with a dejected mind, suddenly he saw Rama and Lakshmana and attained the highest joy. Descending from the chariot, he reverentially saluted them. [95]
12. He said, "O Lords, by the merit of my deeds, you who possess most beautiful forms have arrived, and thus I am freed from bondage." [96]
13. Rama and Lakshmana said to him, "Go quickly to your own abode and attain the company of your desired ones." Bālakhilya, satisfied, departed. [97]
