कूजितैः पक्षिसंघानां जल्पतीव मनोहरम् । भ्रमराणां निनादेन गायतीव मदश्रिताम् ||१०५ || आलिङ्गतीव सर्वाशाः 'समीरेण सुगन्धिना । नानाधातुप्रभाजालमण्डितोत्तुङ्गशृङ्गके ॥१०६॥ गुहामुखसुखासीन दृष्टाननसृगाधिपे । धनपादपखण्डाधः स्थितयूथपतिद्विपे ।। १०७॥ महिम्ना सर्वमाकाशं संछाद्येव व्यवस्थिते । पर्वतेऽष्टापदे रम्ये भगवानिव नाभिजः ||१०८ ॥ तत्रास्य जगती जाता योजनं परिमाणतः । नाम्ना समवपूर्वेण सरणेन प्रकीर्तिता ॥ १०९॥ आसनाभिमुखे तत्र जिने जितभवद्विषि । चुक्षोभ त्रिदशेन्द्रस्य मृगेन्द्ररूढमासनम् ||११|| प्रभावात् कस्य मे कम्पं सिंहासनमिदं गतम् । इत्यालोक्य विबुद्धोऽसौ ज्ञानेनावधिना ततः ।। १११।। आज्ञापयर्देनुध्यातक्षणायातं कृताञ्जलिम् । सेनापतिं यथा देवाः क्रियन्तामिति वेदिनः ॥ ११२ ॥ जिनेन्द्रों भगवान् वीरः स्थितो विपुलभूधरे । तद्वन्दनाय युष्माभिः समेतैर्गम्यतामिति ॥११३॥ ततः शारदजीमृतमहानिचयसंनिभम् । जम्बूनदतटाघातपिङ्ग कोटिमहारदम् ॥ ११४॥ सुवर्णकक्षा युक्तं कैलासमिव जङ्गमम् । सैरिता रजसाब्जानां पिञ्जरीकृततोयया ।। ११५ || मदान्धमधुपश्रेणीश्रितगण्डविराजितम् । धूलीकदम्बसंवादि सौरभव्याप्तविष्टपम् ॥ ११६॥ कर्णतालसमासक्तसमीपालक्ष्यशङ्खकम् । वमन्तमिव पद्मानां वनान्यरुणतालुना ॥ ११७ ॥
निर्मल छींटोंसे जो ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो हँस ही रहा हो, पक्षियोंके कलरवसे ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो मधुर भाषण ही कर रहा हो, मदोन्मत्त भ्रमरों की गुंजारसे ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो गा ही रहा हो, सुगन्धित पवनसे जो ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो आलिंगन ही कर रहा हो। जिसके ऊँचे-ऊँचे शिखर नाना धातुओंकी कान्तिके समूहसे सुशोभित थे, जिसकी गुफाओंके अग्रभागमें सुखसे बैठे हुए सिंहों के मुख दिख रहे थे, जिसकी सघन वृक्षावली के नीचे गजराज बैठे थे और जो अपनी महिमासे समस्त आकाशको आच्छादित कर स्थित था। जिस प्रकार अत्यन्त रमणीय कैलास पर्वतपर भगवान् वृषभदेव विराजमान हुए थे उसी प्रकार उक्त विपुलाचलपर भगवान् वर्धमान जिनेन्द्र विराजमान हुए ||१०२ - १०८ ॥ उस विपुलाचलपर एक योजन विस्तारवाली भूमि समवसरणके नामसे प्रसिद्ध थी || १०९ || संसाररूपी शत्रुको जीतनेवाले वर्धमान जिनेन्द्र जब उस समवसरण भूमिमें सिंहासनारूढ़ हुए तब इन्द्रका आसन कम्पायमान हुआ ॥११०॥ इन्द्रने उसी समय विचार किया कि मेरा यह सिंहासन किसके प्रभावसे कम्पायमान हुआ है । विचार करते ही उसे अवधिज्ञानसे सब समाचार विदित हो गया || ११ || इन्द्र ने सेनापतिका स्मरण किया और सेनापति तत्काल ही हाथ जोड़कर खड़ा हो गया । इन्द्रने उसे आदेश दिया कि सब देवोंको यह समाचार मालूम कराओ कि भगवान् वर्धमान जिनेन्द्र विपुलाचलपर विराजमान हैं इसलिए आप सब लोग एकत्रित होकर उनकी वन्दना के लिए चलिए ।।११२-११३।। तदनन्तर इन्द्र स्वयं उस ऐरावत हाथीपर आरूढ़ होकर चला जो कि शरद ऋतुके मेघोंके किसी बड़े समूह के समान जान पड़ता था, सुवर्णमय तटोंके आघातसे जिसकी खीसोंका अग्रभाग पीला-पीला हो रहा था, जो सुवर्णकी मालाओंसे युक्त था और उससे ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो कमलों की परागसे जिसका जल पीला हो रहा है ऐसी नदीसे परिवृत कैलास गिरि ही हो । जो मदान्ध भ्रमरों की पंक्तिसे युक्त गण्डस्थलोंसे सुशोभित था, कदम्बके फूलों की परागसे मिलती-जुलती सुगन्धिसे जिसने समस्त संसारको व्याप्त कर लिया था, जिसके कानोंके समीप शंख नामक आभरण दिखाई दे रहे थे, जो अपने लाल तालुसे कमलोंके वनको उगलता हुआ-सा जान पड़ता था, जो दर्पके कारण ऐसा

The birds' chirping seemed like a sweet conversation, the buzzing of the bees seemed like a song of intoxication, the fragrant breeze seemed like an embrace. The mountain peaks were adorned with a multitude of shining metals, the mouths of lions were visible in the caves, the elephants were seated beneath the dense trees, and the mountain covered the entire sky with its glory. Just as Lord Vrishabhadeva was seated on the beautiful Mount Kailasa, in the same way, Lord Vardhamana Jineendra was seated on the vast mountain. ||102-108||

On that vast mountain, there was a land called Samavasarana, which was one yojana in extent. ||109||

When the victorious Vardhamana Jineendra, the conqueror of the enemy called the world, ascended the throne in that Samavasarana land, Indra's throne trembled. ||110||

Indra thought at that time, "By whose power has my throne trembled?" As he thought, he knew everything through his knowledge of the past, present, and future. ||111||

Indra remembered his commander, and the commander immediately stood with folded hands. Indra ordered him, "Inform all the gods that Lord Vardhamana Jineendra is seated on the vast mountain, so all of you should gather and go to pay your respects to him." ||112-113||

Then Indra himself mounted his elephant, Airavata, which looked like a large group of autumn clouds, whose tusks were yellowed by the impact of golden shores, which was adorned with golden garlands, and which was surrounded by a river whose water seemed to be yellowed by the pollen of lotuses, like Mount Kailasa itself. The elephant was adorned with the cheeks of intoxicated bees, its fragrance filled the entire world with the pollen of Kadamba flowers, it had a conch shell ornament near its ears, and it seemed to be spitting out forests of lotuses with its red tongue. ||114-117||
