चतुर्दशं पर्व असतेजसः संख्ये' पुरादीनामधीश्वराः । विचित्रवाहनोपेताः सामन्तकृतपूजनाः ॥२८॥ भवनेशाः सुरेशाश्च चक्राकविभवाश्रिताः । महालक्षणसंपना भवन्ति दिनमोजनात् ॥२९०॥ आदित्यवस्प्रभावन्तश्चन्द्रवत्सौम्यदर्शनाः । अनस्तमितमोगाव्यास्ते येऽनस्तमितोद्यताः॥२९१॥ अनाथा दुभंगा मातृपितृभ्रातृविवर्जिताः । शोकदारिद्रयसंपूर्णाः स्त्रियः स्युनिशि भोजनात् ॥२९२॥ क्षस्फुटितहस्तादिस्वाङ्गाश्चिपिटनासिकाः । बीमत्सदर्शनाः क्लिन्नचक्षुषो दुष्टलक्षणाः ॥२९३॥ दुर्गन्धविग्रहा मग्नसुमहादशनच्छदाः । उल्वणश्रुतयः पिङ्गस्फुटिताग्रशिरोरुहाः ॥२९॥ अलाबूबीजसंस्थानदशनाः शुक्लविग्रहाः । काणकुण्ठगतच्छाया विवर्णाः परुषत्वचः ॥२९५॥ अनेकरोगसंपूर्णमलिनाश्छिद्रवाससः । कुरिसताशनजीविन्यः परकर्मसमाश्रिताः ॥२९॥ उस्कृत्तश्रवणं विग्रं धनबन्धुविवर्जितम् । प्राप्नुवन्ति पति नार्यो रात्रिभोजनतत्पराः ॥२९७॥ दुःखमारसमाक्रान्ता बालवैधव्यसंगताः । अम्बुकाष्ठादिवाहिन्यो दुःपूरोदरतत्पराः ॥२९८॥ सर्वलोकपराभूता वाग्वासीनष्टचेतसः । अङ्कवणशताधारा भवन्ति निशि भोजनात् ॥२९९॥ उपशान्ताशया यास्तु नार्यः शीलसमन्विताः। साधुवर्गहिता रात्रिभोजनाद्विरतास्मिकाः ॥३०॥ लभन्ते ता यथाभीष्टं भोगं स्वर्ग समावृताः । परिवारेण मूर्धस्थपाणिना शासनैषिणी ॥३०१॥ ततश्च्युताः स्फुरन्त्युच्चैः कुले विमवधारिणि । शुभलक्षणसंपूर्णा गुणः सर्वैः समन्विताः ॥३.०२॥
कलाविशारदा नेत्रमानसस्नेहविग्रहाः । विमुञ्चन्स्योऽमृतं वाचा नादयन्स्योऽखिलं जनम् ॥३०३॥ जिनका तेज युद्ध में असह्य है, जो नगर आदिके अधिपति हैं, विचित्र वाहनोंसे सहित हैं तथा सामन्तगण जिनका सत्कार करते हैं ऐसे पुरुष भी दिनमें भोजन करनेसे ही होते हैं ।।२८९।। इतना ही नहीं, भवनेन्द्र, देवेन्द्र, चक्रवर्ती और महालक्षणोंसे सम्पन्न व्यक्ति भी दिनमें भोजन करने से ही होते हैं ।।२९०।। जो रात्रिभोजनत्यागवतमें उद्यत रहते हैं वे सूर्यके समान प्रभावान्, चन्द्रमाके समान सौम्य और स्थायी भोगोंसे युक्त होते हैं ।।२९१॥ रात्रिमें भोजन करने से स्त्रियाँ अनाथ, दुर्भाग्यशाली, मातापिता भाईसे रहित तथा शोक और दारिद्रयसे युक्त होती हैं ।।२९२।। जिनकी नाक चपटी है, जिनका देखना ग्लानि उत्पन्न करता है, जिनके नेत्र कीचड़से युक्त हैं, जो अनेक दुष्टलक्षणोंसे सहित हैं, । जिनके शरीरसे दुर्गन्ध आती रहती है, जिनके ओठ फटे और मोटे हैं, कान खड़े हैं, शिरके बाल पीले तथा चटके हैं, दाँत तूंबड़ोके बीजके समान हैं और शरीर सफेद है, जो कानी, शिथिल तथा कान्तिहीन हैं, रूपरहित हैं, जिनका चमं कठोर है। जो अनेक रोगोंसे युक्त तथा मलिन हैं, जिनके वस्त्र फटे हैं, जो गन्दा भोजन खाकर जीवित रहती हैं, और जिन्हें दूसरेकी नौकरी करनी पड़ती है, ऐसी खियाँ रात्रि भोजनके ही पापसे होती हैं ।।२९३-२९६।। रात्रिभोजनमें तत्पर रहनेवाली स्त्रियाँ बूचे नकटे और धन तथा भाई-बन्धुओंसे रहित पतिको प्राप्त होती हैं ॥२९७॥ जो दुःखके भारसे निरन्तर आक्रान्त रहती हैं. बाल अवस्थामें ही विध हो जाती हैं, पानी, लकड़ो आदि ढो-डो कर पेट भरती हैं, अपना पेट बड़ी कठिनाईसे भर पाती हैं, सब लोग जिनका तिरस्कार करते हैं, जिनका चित्त वचन रूपी बसूलासे नष्ट होता रहता है और जिनके शरीरमें सैकड़ों घाव लगे रहते हैं, ऐसी स्त्रियाँ रात्रि भोजनके कारण ही होती हैं ॥२९८-२९९|| जो स्त्रियां शान्त चित्त, शील सहित, मुनिजनोंका हित करनेवाली और रात्रि भोजनसे विरत रहती हैं वे स्वर्गमें यथेच्छ भोग प्राप्त करती हैं। शिरपर हाथ रखकर आज्ञाकी प्रतीक्षा करनेवाले परिवारके लोग उन्हें सदा घेरे रहते हैं ।।३००-३०१।। स्वर्गसे च्युत होकर वे वैभवशाली उच्च कुलमें उत्पन्न होती हैं, शुभ लक्षणोंसे युक्त तथा समस्त गुणीसे सहित होती हैं ॥३०२॥ अनेक कलाओंमें निपुण रहती हैं, उनके शरीर नेत्र और मनमें स्नेह उत्पन्न करनेवाले १. युद्धे । २. अभङ्गुरभोगयुक्ताः । ३. They are always surrounded by their families, who stand with their hands on their heads, awaiting their commands. ||300-301|| Having fallen from heaven, they are born into a prosperous and noble family, endowed with auspicious signs and possessing all virtues. ||302|| They are skilled in many arts, their bodies inspire love in the eyes and minds of others, and they release nectar through their words, delighting all beings. ||303||
