स्तोकमपीह न चाद्भुतमस्ति 'न्यस्य समस्तपरिग्रहसङ्गम् । यत्क्षणतो दुरितस्य विनाशं ध्यानबलाजनयन्ति बृहन्तः ॥१११॥ अर्जितमत्युरुकालविधानादिन्धनराशिमुदारमशेषम् । प्राप्य परं क्षणतो महिमानं किं न दहत्यनिलः केणमात्रः ॥११२॥ इत्यवगम्य जनाः सुविशुद्धं यत्नपराः करणं वहतान्तः । मृत्युदिनस्य न केचिदपेता ज्ञानरवेः कुरुत प्रतिपत्तिम् ॥११३॥
इत्यार्षे रविषेणाचार्यप्रोक्ने पद्मचरिते इन्द्रनिर्वाणाभिधानं नाम त्रयोदशं पर्व ॥१३॥
और अन्तमें उत्तम सुखसे युक्त निर्वाण पदको प्राप्त हो जाते हैं ॥११०॥ इसमें कुछ भी आश्चर्य नहीं है कि बड़े पुरुष समस्त परिग्रहका संग छोड़कर ध्यानके बलसे क्षण-भरमें पापोंका नाश कर देते हैं ॥१११।। क्या बहुत कालसे इकट्ठी को हुई ईन्धनकी बड़ी राशिको कणमात्र अग्नि क्षणभरमें विशाल महिमाको प्राप्त हो भस्म नहीं कर देती ? ॥११२॥ ऐसा जानकर हे भव्य जनो! यत्नमें तत्पर हो अन्तःकरणको अत्यन्त निर्मल करो। मृत्युका दिन आनेपर कोई भी पीछे नहीं हट सकते अर्थात् मृत्युका अवसर आनेपर सबको मरना पड़ता है। इसलिए सम्यग्ज्ञानरूपी सूर्यकी प्राप्ति करो ॥११३॥
इस प्रकार आर्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध रविषेणाचार्य कथित पद्मचरितमें इन्द्र के निर्वाणका
कथन करनेवाला तेरहवाँ पर्व समाप्त हुआ ॥१३॥

Knowing this, O noble ones! Be diligent and purify your inner selves. No one can escape the day of death, that is, everyone must die when the time comes. Therefore, attain the sun of right knowledge. ||113||

Thus ends the thirteenth chapter of the Padmacharita, known as the Ārṣa, narrated by the Ācārya, describing the Nirvāṇa of Indra. ||13||
