________________ (६४५) was sager. लोल - eager. 'लोलश्चलस्तृष्णयोः' इत्यमरः । सः अर्थ वधूनां सार्थः - this very concourse of young women. 'ललना कामिनी योषिद्योषा सीमन्तिनी वधूः' इति धनञ्जयः । सार्थः - a concourse. 'सार्थः स्याद्वणिजां वृन्दे वृन्दमात्रेऽपि दृश्यते' इति विश्वलोचने । त्वत्तः - from you, प्रणयकणिका - a bit of love. प्रणयस्य कणिका लेशः प्रणयकणिका । ताम् । 'गोधूमचूणे कणिकः स्त्रियां सूक्ष्मानिमन्थयोः' इति विश्वलोचमे । 'कणिकाsरूपकणः गोधूमपिष्टं च' इत्यमरटीकायां क्षीरस्वामी । अलब्ध्वा - without attaining. विलक्षः - struck with wonder. 'विलक्षो विस्मयान्विते' इत्यमरः। दूरात् - from a distance. समीपे वर्तमानोऽपि समीपतरं प्रदेशमप्राप्येत्यर्थः । In the stanza तद्भोक्तव्ये स्वयमुपनते, it is clearly stated that the concourse of young ladies has approached the Sage. The word ta, therefore, should be taken to mean from a short distance.' तव सेवा वितनुते - serves you. Sambara means to say that as the concourse of the young beautiful ladies, not having any response from the Sage, is serving the Sage from a short distance, the Sage should not connive at them flereby, he implies that the Sage should give up meditation and should join them to dally with them. This also is one of the means employed by him to disturb the Sage's mind concentrated upon the pare nature of his soul. stanza28- स्त्रीणां अधिकारः - the transmutation of the minds of women. कामाभिख्यां दधत् - assuming the name Kama. कामः इति अभिख्या सज्ञा कामाभिख्या । ताम् । दधत् - assuming. श्रवणविषवं अतिक्रान्तः - gone beyond the range of oars. श्रवणयोः कर्णयोः विषयः गोचरः श्रवणविषयः । तम् । अतिक्रान्तः - gone beyond. It is well-known that the thoughts, occuring to the mind are not perceived by ears, लोचनाभ्यां अदृष्टः - not seen by eyes. Eyes cannot see objects which are not embodied.
