संकुअ-संकलिओ [83*] तह पाविय-खंडण-पीलणो वि जो वहइ निन्भरं रायं ।
जइ सो वि होइ अहरो को उण तुह उत्तरो सुयणु ॥१४३
'तह पाविय खंडण-पीलणो वि' तथा तेन प्रकारेण प्रियकृतेन प्राप्त खण्डम पीलनं च येन स तथा प्राप्तखण्डनपीलनोऽपि यो वहति धारयति प्रचुर रागमरुणत्वं, अन्यत्रानुराग 'जइ सो वि होइ' यदि सोऽपि भवत्यधरः कः पुनरुत्तरस्तव सुतनो भविष्यति । अधरशब्देन न्यग्भूत ओष्ठश्चोच्यते । उत्तरस्तूच्चः स्थितः ।
Oh lovely damsel, that which in spite of being wounded and pressed, shows abundant rāa (love', alternatively, 'redness'), and even then if it is (called) àhara ('lower lip', alternatively, 'inferior'), then who possibly can be your superior ? (143)

'झीणा' 'सिसिरो वि' 'विसालयाई 'सइ-पंथिय' त्ति वाइ' तुमं । आसाइयाए मइओ कह न पसण्णाए' वाणीए ॥१४४
. 'झीणा' इत्यादि-गाथात्मिकया वाण्या । 'पसण्णाए' प्रसन्नया प्रसादगुणयोगात् प्रकटार्थ या, अन्यत्र प्रसन्नया अच्छसुरया । वाण्या । 'आसाइयाए' आसादितया ज्ञानगोचरं प्रापितया, अन्यत्र आस्वादितया पीतया । 'वाइ तुम' हे धादिस्त्वम् । 'माओ कह न' म[19A]दितो मदं ग्राहितः कथं न । एवंविधां वाणी रचयन्नपि कवित्वमदरहित इत्यर्थः ॥
Oh Vādip, bow is it that you were not puffed up by your composition of the lucid verses with jhiņā, sisiro vi, visälayāi and sai-parithiya (as their respective key-words) ?
(Alternatively, how is it that you were not intoxicated by drinking the clear wine ?) (144) . . . . . . . 1. वाएम.
